I bought this to transport my new FreeSky dual battery heavy e-bike. Seller says the bike weighs around 90 pounds. This rack worked very well. The rack is very stable with the bike mounted, and I did remove the lower battery, the heavier of the two. The ramp makes for an easy load. The assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. It is not clear that you have to slide the bike tray on all the way to the metal stop, but once that is done, the rack balances nicely. They also never mentioned the two velcro straps that are included. These are to hold both front and rear brakes engaged, which adds to the stability of the bike in the rack. Lightweight enough for an old man to install, and overall a darn good rack. Would recommend.

The box came well packed, all of the parts aere there, and the carrier is well made, a 5 rating. Now for the down side... The instructions are terrible and lack specific steps. The parts are not marked inside rail or outside, and inside bike supports are not marked. You have to install them and if they do not operate properly, remove and reinstall the other rail or support. Once assembled, the carrier work well for my Lectric XP 3.0 bikes.

Quick and easy to assemble, install and use. Sturdy and little to no shaking or movement of rack when in use. What I don’t like is it doesn’t lock to hitch, the ramp and center post attachment don’t lock to rack. Bike is only secured to rack so you must use a cable lock. I have an SUV so there is plenty of clearance yet the ramp, that sticks out when in storage, scraped the ground when I went down a slight dip in the road.

It took me a while to finally put this rack together but once I figured everything out it works great! I did install the outside bar differently than what is on the instructions. I’m not going to mount the ramp to the rack so what I did was to install the bar on the side the ramp would be mounted on. I did this in case the strap that holds the bike upright on the bar fails, the bike will not fall backwards, away from my vehicle. It’s just more peace of mind for me when I’m doing 75/80 MPH down Oklahoma highways.
