(i decorated mine) very good for beginners!! i bought the tenor because I believed that the soprano wouldnt be big enough for me, and the tenor is the perfect size for somebody like me who has bigger hands. I'm a beginner and I've had the best time using this ukulele. the sound quality is really good and you get what you pay for. not saying the sound quality is bad or the sound quality is poor or anything like that, but obviously is not a professional ukulele if you want a professional ukulele you would want to buy it from an actual ukulele/instrument site and not from a site like Amazon. when I tuned it one of the strings did break, and it was hard for me to replace the string, but I think that also has to do with me being a beginner. tl;dr perfect for beginners, sound quality good, you get what you pay for ... show more
