Colgate Peroxyl Mouth Sore Rinse helps cleanse and promote healing of minor oral irritations. Peroxyl also soothes minor gum inflammation from dental procedures, dentures and orthodontic appliances. This formula is an alcohol free mouthwash and does not contain ethanol so there's no burn. Honestly I was using other mouth washes before I tried this one that does NOT contain alcohol. The flavor is great, very refreshing, does not burn the inside of my mouth like others. I cannot see myself going back to the other types of mouth washes. Colgate never seems to fail!!! I highly recommend if your mouth is sensitive to strong mouth washes that contain alcohol. I have low vision and I’m using Siri to write this. On a recent trip to the dentist. I had a pocket problem or whatever you would call it against my front teeth where there was some issue where the pocket was too deep and I needed to tighten them up and kill off some stuff in my mouth. I’ve used the stuff now for 10 days and can feel a desperate change. The only thing that’s fun is that it has a really strange taste and after you, think you’ve gotten all of it out of your mouth it’ll pull in the bottom and you’ll get rid of some more so I’m pretty sure it’s doing what it’s got to do. I plan on coming back here after my nest appointment in a couple months if it’s not doing what it’s supposed to do in advise that so unless I do that, consider it working good. Again, I doubt anybody’s going to read this review, but if you do , it’s well worth the price based on other prices I’ve seen.
