The media could not be loaded. Things I learned: 1. Give the cat some time to get used to it. My kitty took a few hours and an overnight "think about it", to stop attacking the vacuum. Forget all the cute videos of cats riding around for now. Update: Unadvertised perk. It's a mobile groomer as well. See video. 2. Find a way to secure all cords. I tucked a low box under my entertainment center to house the loose cords, or taped the excess to the back of furniture. 3. Drape floor length curtains over chair backs. 4. Pickup all dog and cat toys. In general, just pick up everthing. 5. Be prepared to rescue the vacuum when it hops over low items or gets stuck. I have chairs that have a 3/4 inch rung that is in contact with the floor. Dusty (vacuum's name) doesn't cope well with it. It also got stuck under my recliner. But it sent me a message to say it was hung up. I wouldn't leave it running or schedule cleaning if I wasn't home. 6. It responds quickly to Alexa. I've only used a few basic commands (Alexa ask Dusty to start cleaning, Tell Dusty to go home, etc), but they work and Alexa doesn't give me any lip when I ask. I still have it at 5 stars for now. It's cleaning path was pretty erratic the first time I used it, but it always found its way to the home base and did a reasonable job of dusting the floor. It was not on the strongest suction and still picked up a few tiny pebbles. It's mostly quiet. I listened for it to get hung up, but I could still watch TV or listen to music. I think my expectations were reasonable. I didn't expect it to get up all the massive amount of dog hair. My regular vacuum won't do that. I raked the bulk up with a carpet broom first, but that's normal for Newfoundlands and Australian Shepherds and cats. Part of being a pet owner. I was really hoping for dust removal. It will take a few cleanings to see if it helps. Less dust on furniture and no clouds of dust being kicked up when everyone is roughhousing. Yeah, my house is bad, but so far I am very hopeful that this vacuum will help. I havent tried out the mop yet, but I've only had it for two days. I expect it will be fine. Will update this review if something goes screwy.

Don’t waste your money, especially if the reason you’re getting it is for pet hair. My last robot vacuum was inexpensive and worked great. I decided to try this one because it didn’t have a roller and I am so disappointed. My house is still full of pet hair and I run it twice a day. Which was not an issue with the last vacuum. This one even takes forever to find its charging base. Had I kept the box I would have returned it.

Great customer service, resolved my issue same day. The vacuum exceeded my expectations. I thought I vacuumed well but this vacuum proved me wrong with in minutes. Really easy to use,quiet and runs for about 2 hours. I have 4 dogs and a bird that like to make messes when they eat and this baby picks everything up. Wall-E got every corner, under tables and couches. Saves me time and the headache of asking someone else to do it up to my standards. I thought I needed to buy one for a $500 but decided to take a risk on this one 1st because of the reviews and I'm glad I did. Saved me so much money and time.

After powering up the unit, placing it on the charger, and downloading the app, it said the vacuum needed a firmware update. The update made it 98% through before timing out and failing. Upon checking the unit, I found the power light off. From this point on, the unit could not be powered back up, regardless of charge time. I checked the charger with a meter, and it was working fine. It seems that the firmware update bricked the unit. Returning for refund.

Works well going from hard floors to rugs. Not so noisy, and loud enough so you know where it is. Will not fall down stairs. Have not used the wash option and as a vacuum works great. Returns itself to home base when battery runs low. Works well with Alexa as an option. You can set on a regular schedule as well. Good product and value for money. I'm always amazed how much it picks up from what looks like a 'clean' floor!
