My two cats shed everywhere, and this vacuum grabs hair from area rugs surprisingly well. It doesn’t have laser guidance, so it wanders randomly and sometimes misses corners, but after 60 minutes, my living room rug looks decent. The bin collects a furball I’d normally sweep manually. Emptying requires fingers getting dusty, but no clogs. Not for high-pile carpets, but perfect for hard floors and thin rugs.

Finally, dust-bunny-free zones under furniture! I carry this to bedrooms, press clean, and it scoots under low-clearance beds/sofas. Without mapping, it cleans radially from its start point. Pull it out afterward to empty the fur-filled bin. Downsides: Can’t return to charge, so timing is manual. Still, unbeatable for hard-to-reach spots.
