I was really looking forward to having a robot vacuum for a decent price so I purchased when I came across an article highly recommding the Xiebro T8S from Amazon and quickly regretted it.... I was not aware the the article is what i believe to be click bait... First off, I can not find anything about the Xiebro T8S on the internet... Minimal reviews, no operation or inustrction manuals, no literature explaining the functions and settings of the robot vacuum, and no price comparisons anywhere.... I charged my robot and set it out on it's first clean... I quickly realized that there was no home mapping technology involved, just a whole home run around feature. Then I realized that the suction of the vacuum was barely enough to pick up dirt and found the inlet port had built up dirt and fine dog hair, because it did not have the suction to pull into holding area, and after cleaning the clog still horrible suction. Dirt, hair, and small leaf and grass particles were not being picked up by the Xiebro T8S. The T8S also continuously was getting stuck under the front of my couch... Frustrated with how horrible it was performing, I attempted to send it home to the dock and the robot ran around for 30 min unable to find the docking station and I eventually had to pick it up and manually place it on the dock.... Needless to say I will be returning the Xiebro T8S to Amazon and now understand why Amazon had it marked down from $549.00 to $149.00... DO NOT waste your money on this product, go buy a Shark or Rumba...

Marking it originally $500+ down to $150+ yeah I fell for the ole black Friday mark down tactic. This thing isnt worth $500 and barely worth what I paid for. Sure it's a good vacuum, but it's a little dumb sometimes and the ability to not set boundaries like other ones is a big turn off for me. Sure it's a convenient with its mopping feature, but all it does is scraps a fiber cloth on the ground and slowly trickles out water, nothing special. I thought it would actually like mop the entire floor, but no, it just follows a path then bumps into something and switches up. Then it bumps into something else and then 90% of the time mops the same area over and over and over again without touching the rest of the floor. So it's ok, but not great.

I’m absolutely in love with my new T8S robot vacuum! It’s sleek, efficient, and has transformed the way I keep my home clean. It effortlessly navigates around furniture, tackles both carpets and hard floors, and its suction power is phenomenal. Yes, it vacuums so I don't have to. That's the positive. Being my first robot vacuum, I have no idea if they are all this weird, but I think this thing has only completed vacuuming on it's own once. Every other time I eventually just get tired of rescuing it and send it home (which is an issue unto itself). It doesn't seem to learn. It just drives itself around banging into things until it gets stuck on something and I have to intervene. And it's always the same places - my door mats, my bath mats, and the cord on my power reclining chair. Why doesn't it just learn to avoid these? Am I asking too much? Pushing the Home Button - goodness this is probably the most confusing issue of all. I assumed that pushing the Home button is supposed to just send it home. Usually it's pretty close to it's home when I hit the button, but it doesn't just go home. Nope. It often gets itself stuck one more time, somehow completely confused by the dining room table that it was able to vacuum around previously. Recently it actually went on an entire tour of the kitchen and dining room before actually making it home. It didn't even head in the direction of home at first. It went in the opposite direction. This is very confusing to me. In short, it's annoying and it drives me crazy. But I also hate vacuuming, so I let it do it's thing. I work from home. I can go get it. I would not rely on this thing to work when you're not around though because I guarantee you it WILL get stuck on something. I have never used the mop feature. I just let it vacuum. This is not a replacement for regular vacuuming either. It doesn't get edges very well. It's just to get the little dirt and dust the dogs bring inside daily from the park and I still do a full vacuum weekly.
