This vacuum does a good job of cleaning up small messes, hair, and dust. You need to empty the bin often to get the best suction. The mopping mode works decently enough but I recommend putting a floor cleaner in the mop diluted with water for best results. Just water doesn't seem to do much. The mop doesn't necessarily replace your traditional mop, but it allows you to mop less often. The controls on manual mode are a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it works well. There is no mapping feature so you have to use random mode which does the trick but won't necessarily cover the entire room. It does get stuck easily on higher pile carpet, but for the price I'm a satisfied customer. ... show more

    • Did not work. Not possible to directly communicate with seller. Refunds are not happening either.
This vacuum quit working in under two months. So did the seller. It was sold on Amazon with a one year warranty. When the seller did not respond to me, I was told that it was too late to use the Amazon A-Z guarantee, which Amazon told me would require a 30% restocking fee. The seller eventually responded to me but did not honor the warranty. When asked to replace the defective machine they sent in the first place, they sent a used machine with someone else's dust and dirt in the dustbin. When I continued to complain, they offered a refund thru an Amazon gift card but only at 70% of the purchase price. This did not happen either. This machine is cheap, does not work and the warranty is not honored, PERIOD. In fact, the seller told me that since the purchase was over 30 days ago, there was nothing they could do. Amazon allows these types of vendors to continue to sell their defective products to customers who spend more time attempting to get a refund than they will ever spend using the unusable products sold on Amazon, and all of this at a 30% reduction in what was paid in the first place! ... show more

    • Excellent vacuum!
I've had this vacuum for the past 8 months and i have to say that it's an excellent item! It works as designed, the different "intelligent" options work perfectly and also the mop option. It's not the strongest one, but it certainly do the job.

Basic robot vacuum, does the job. I find that the compartment is small and we are constantly stopping it to dump it out. I bought this on sale for $170 and it was listed for $800. I would have not been so happy had paid 800 dollars for this robot. It is very basic, it does not have the option to map out the room to avoid objects. It's only options are random and edge clean. We keep it on random but find that it can get stuck in the living room for a while and not get other parts of the house as well as I would like it to. It does a good job on our hardwood floors and going over the rugs with ease. Mopping isnt the best, it basically drags a snail trail of water and drags it on the rugs. It is a good option for a small house (ours is 1200 Sq ft) or a small apartment ... show more

    • Extra Plus! This unit is not only a vacuum but also a wet mop unit.
I found that this unit easy to set up for web Wifi use. That allows me to program the unit, as well as use the remote control to start/stop, etc. It is relatively quiet and efficient for everyday cleaning of floors -- carpet and porcelain. I do not feel its as powerful as the Robot Shark previously owned. Love the auto run feature. However, the unit may quit auto cleaning... it may start turning in circles for no reason. It may just stop and shutdown. I can't figure out why these things are happening??? Have not use the wet mopping feature. As a 76 year old senior with back issues, this unit is a blessing. NOTE: As other vacuums like this, it does get caught up at times around furniture. ... show more

We have 3 dogs, 3 adults, and 2 kiddos...This works better than expected. If I could dream of anything more it would be a "dump canister" so I wouldn't have to worry about cleaning right away, but it's our starter robot and it does exactly what it says! We have hardwood floors, tile, and carpeted rugs on our main floor...have had little to no issues with transitions (we have a rug that is slightly curled on the corner, so not the robot's fault). Keep your vacuum area picked up for best results, obviously. It reroutes quickly once it runs into anything. Gets the job done between deep cleanings! Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Glad I bought the extended warranty
I loved this at first. It doesn't map, but for the price we were happy with the amount of debris that it picked up. The mop did leave streaks but at least I knew that the dust was wiped up. I've had this unit for 6 months and unfortunately, several things went wrong. First, there was no availability for extra filters or mop pads. That may be resolved now. Next, the clip securing the door to the dust bin broke off. I could still manage to open it so wasn't too perturbed. Now the unit will not charge. I cleaned the contacts and repositioned it on the base many times but no luck. Fortunately, I had purchased the Asurion extended warranty. I contacted them this morning and as soon as I return it with the supplied shipping label, I will have a full refund credited. I've begun the search for a new vacuum, which will definitely be from a better brand and have lidar mapping. ... show more
