This vacuum and mop is the bomb! It takes a few time for it to map out your area but when it does it doesn't take too long. I remove the rugs on the floor except for the area rug. The small rugs it can get hung up on but the area rug it go perfectly over. Doesn't get stuck under my chair so that's great. I don't need the magnetic strip for the stairs either. It senses the stairs and turns around. When it is done it goes back to the charging unit. The mop is cool but it is only for a clean up during the week I still mop at the end of the week to make sure floor is actually clean. I do have 2 laborador retrievers and it picks up hair very nicely and the suction is powerful. You can adjust the settings for suction. The app is very useful. If the vacuum gets stuck you can manually drive it out of the area from your phone. It come with a remote too we don't use that though. Kids used it when we got it like a remote control car haha. But after the fun we were over it. I absolutely would recommend this to dog owners and people with kids. I have not tried on a fully carpeted room but bare floors it works great.

Somehow the makers of this robot vacuum cleaner found the perfect design, a marvel of engineering! ...When it comes to getting USB charging cords stuck in the thing's wheel wells. I have had to engage in major surgery probably fifteen times in the two years I've had this thing, trying to remove the stuck cords. I do try to remember to Tikom-proof the apartment but if I forget and a cord is left on a power strip? It finds a new home, wedged in this thing's wheels. It's pretty annoying. I've had six different Roombas over the years and that never happened even one time with those. Still, the little thing does a decent job and fills its dirt trap well every day so I feel pretty forgiving. Plus it was a good bit less expensive than the Roombas and cleans just as well, so. I guess I'm a robot vacuum wheel well surgeon now.

So initially I found the Tikom G8000 while on sale and I thought the price point was good the specs and suction power were great. So when the brand new robot arrived in record speed, I was elated. Then I found myself quickly disappointed because after charging the robot, It would not respond to the remote control. It would back off of the charger and when directed to move anywhere, the robot would flash red and need to be placed back on the charger again (over & over & over again). So the product was clearly malfunctioning. So I contacted Amazon Customer Rep.(who was great), sent me a return label and processed me for a replacement. Even though I was initially jilted, I really wanted this robot. It looks great and if only the manufacturing could deliver, I would have been happy. So after waiting weeks (2-3 wks) for the replacement to arrive... the day came. I quickly opened my replacement robot to find... a scratched up, used , filthy dirt canister (with dirt still inside), missing mop (and other conpents), dust & dirt from the dirt canister spewed onto the remote and charging base etc... how did I feel you ask me, DISRESPECTED... who does that? Even if you were going to sham me by sending me a used product, at least clean it first. Oh and just to see what kind of company I was dealing with, I charged the used robot to see if it would work. well it moved around, noise level was good, it seemed to pick up dirt from the floor, But I couldn't control it with the remote. Maybe that's why some else returned it. So after (2) strikes, I asked Amazon for a refund (which they honored). I have cleaned the dirt container (which I used) and will be getting this Gabage' out of my house ASAP. Buy this product at your own risk. Thanks for reading.

Deliver red quickly and excellent value for the money. Exceptional suction compared to other vacuums. Mopping is the basic dragging of the mop pad over the floors so no scrubbing action and only removes surface dirt when mopping. I spray Linen spray on the floors prior to running in so it spreads the fragrance around. So while the vacuum power is great, the mopping is just average. Really great at finding its way around but gets stuck on chairs and stools with slanted legs sometimes. Also, always finds its way home but starts the search for the charging base at about 17% and takes some time to find it, so you don’t really get the full battery potential. Still, better than Robot and some Roborock models which often can’t get to the charger before dying. At least Tikom does, eventually. Would be the perfect robot vacuum/mop combo at three times the price with improved mopping/scrubbing capability and better find base capability. Also, the manual setting (so you can move it right, left etc) does not work at all. But overall, excellent vacuum

I probably had 15 of these robots and these two for the price point are absolutely excellent. I’m extremely happy they’re easy to work on and they really don’t have much problems. Other than getting hung up on some cords once in a while I know that’s operator error. I’ve never even tried the floor cleaning accessory, but it doesn’t look that difficult to use. I think I’ll I’ll try it soon. Pleasantly surprised I have two of these one for each end of the house. I love it. Should you or your children get the brush accidentally upside down you can just mark one side, one color with nail polish and the other side the other color with nail polish so you don’t have to think twice about putting back the roller brush after you removed excess hair on occasion.
