I purchased this vacuum as an upgrade from a "dumber" robot vacuum I had. That one would bump around into everything while it vacuumed the whole house. It worked, but I was constantly annoyed by it running into obstacles and into places I didn't want it to. Now, this vacuum does a much better job. First, the interface, even though it's also using Tuya Smart, is far more advanced because of the lidar scanner. The app shows the newly scanned map of my home which means no more "dumb" behavior like bumping around while it "learns" my home again. Second, the advanced mapping allows me to finally set "forbidden zones" so the vacuum doesn't run into rooms I don't want it to. Third, I really appreciate that it has a mop feature because having hardwood floors means vacuuming alone is not enough; mopping also needs to be done. Now the mopping isn't as "powerful" as me taking a Swiffer and scrubbing the floors myself, but for keeping the house clean on a daily basis it's more than enough. I like that the mop feature is removable and it even includes a spare mop towel and rotating brush heads. The vacuum suction is also more powerful than my previous "dumb" vacuum robot, so overall this is a superior upgrade.

It is fairly easy to set up, and does not require wifi for it to run, only if you want all the features which is definitelya bonus. It is a quick robot, it has already finished 2 rooms as I wrote this. I could not find any info on if the mop could use any cleaner or if it is only water, which was the only question I couldn't find an answer for. The instructions are detailed, mine came with 3 packets a set up manual, a product usage and a common fault booklet.

Finally, a vacuum robot that doesn’t eat cat toys! The anti-tangle brush handles long-haired dog fur on rugs. Wet mop sanitizes the litter box area. Voice commands via Google Home are a lifesaver.
