This fabric is slightly silky but looks like cotton. These collars stay put, go well under any sweater or shirt, and are lovely coloirs. They are a little short in back, so if you have something that dips in the back, they might not work. The collar stays up and perky all day - washes really well.

I will have to iron the white one for sure, quite wrinkled. Suits my needs, but a little shorter than I would have liked. (Should have looked at length.) I think they will work fine though.

Good: +it provides the appearance of a collar shirt underneath other tops. + It is well made (although the edging is sewn inside out, it doesn’t affect the overall utility Bad: -NOT cotton, it feels like some sort of very wrinkly synthetic material. -in new condition it arrived VERY wrinkly. - the little stretchy straps that are meant to sit along the lower edge of one’s bra and keep it from moving around are designed for tiny or petite women, not ordinary women. I am 5’4” and the stretchy straps sat right against my armpits, even when loosened. Since I am keeping these, I just cut off those straps, and if need be will tuck the edges under my bra straps at the shoulders. -I got the black, fuchsia, white, and red combination of 4 dickies. The red is orangy red, an unflattering color on me. I prefer red verging on purple, or just middle of the road red. I will probably donate the red one.
