The media could not be loaded. This is the first robot vacuum that I have ever purchased. I am very satisfied with the product. I live in a single family house and have a wooden floor on the first floor. I like to open all the windows and the door to the garden in the daytime. This product is perfect for a family like this. I can customize the mopping level and vacuum level. Since I like to leave the garden door open, the floor is often covered by dust, dirt and sometimes mud. I set the daily cleaning to cover the living room, so it can be kept clean. One important feature is the select area. Every time after cooking, I can easily select the kitchen area and perform specific cleaning tasks for each area. It is also a robot vacuum with an auto-emptying feature. The auto-emptying is quick and efficient. The auto-emptying is kind of loud but I can set up the ‘restricted’ time. Before I purchased it, I was concerned if it could detect the furniture and avoid it. After first use, I can tell it is very smart. It's smart enough to only go through the floor with cleaning and mopping once and the result is very impressive. I observed that it can go through my dining table, TV stands and sofa. It detects all legs of each furniture and moves around it to make sure it is clean. But pay attention to the wires, like phone charges, it can be trapped by it. But for large chords that place along the wall, the robot can avoid it and does not get trapped. The app has a very clean UI design. It is very easy to use and concise. It only shows the essential functionalities and no ads! The feature of selecting the desired area, I mentioned in the above paragraph, can be easily accomplished via app. So after the first whole room cleaning, the app can remember the map of your house. All you need to do is to draw a rectangle, via app UI, around the area you want it to clean. If you want the robot to avoid cleaning a certain area, you can draw walls around the area, via app. It will not go across that area. One fun thing is to watch it cleaning. The app does show the cleaning routes it takes, very interesting and entertaining for me to watch. One tip is the robot takes some time to finish the entire -room clean. You can do it when you are out. It took about 1 hour to clean the entire first floor of our house. The app can be accessed as soon as you get the internet. Another thing to notice is the mopping cloth is not auto cleaned. You need to clean it manually, depending on the level of dirt it gets. The reinstallation of mopping cloth is very easy though. It did not take me a lot of time. My summary of it is that it did a great job so far. It does all the vacuum and cleaning jobs. If you are lazy, like me, and want to have a robot clean the floor daily. You should consider purchasing it.

In the short time I have ran the Roborock Q7+ max in my home it has been life changing. Entire family approved. Gets the job done. I have tried another robot vacuum in the past and it was more trouble than worth. This thing on the other hand is great. I did not expect much from mopping feature but it does well enough. It will not replace mop. It does what would be expected from the likes of a swiffer wet jet after a pass or 2. The vacuuming on the other hand does extremely well. The challenge is 2 young children and 2 very large dogs, one of which is a Labrador retriever and the pet hair is no longer floating around the house. Challenge accepted and met. What really set it apart is ability to climb transitions. I have an older home consisting of 2 add ons. Each of these have a step down between 3/4 and 1 inch. I have a rug at the 1 inch to assist. This vacuum has no issues. It will take it 1 wheel at a time to climb right up and continue working. Very smart, programed well. The last one I had, had difficulty with transitioning from carpet to tile. It was a joke and ended up being used as a toy for my youngest child. He liked the remote control feature and used it to clean his room until the novelty wore off. The Roborock Q7+ max on the other hand is as hassle free as it gets. My son now 7 tells the google speaker in his room to clean the floor and he gets excited when it comes through the door. It's been trouble getting him to keep his room clean but now he is excited about picking everything up prior to sending in his robot friend. Added bonus, Not 1 time after several cleaning cycles did it get stuck requiring my help. I feel very comfortable setting routine to take care of these tasks while my wife and I are at work. It's a good value if mopping isn't the priority. That said it does mop well enough to maintain if ran regularly from my observations. I enjoy a lot of smarthome devices and they are not always wife and kid approved but this vacuum has been very well received.
