I bought this robot vacuum the other day for $199, because i wanted some help cleaning my small 1br apt. I work all day sometimes up to 10hrs and when i get home, i want to take a shower, feed myself and the cat and go rest This version of RoboRock running firmware 02.09.18. I found the unboxing a bit cluttered, the instructions are bad to understand, but once you get over that hurdle its smooth sailing from there. It took me a bit how to use the mop feature. The app is surprisingly well made and the mapping functions are the best i have seen in a vacuum, like ever. I was able to setup a schedule for the week and the weekend, the Lil robot chugs around the house with little or no difficulty, i feel its been super efficient, the invisible walls work really well. I made a No-Go section around the bed and it goes around the bedroom cleaning without going under the bed. When/if it gets stuck a notification system lets you know with a voice that it needs help. Overall for the use i have in my small apt, its working great and i feel for $200 its perfect. ... show more

Vacuum has no trouble adjusting to rugs or small drops in the doorway floor. Dirt is compacted as it goes and easy to dispose of. Fairly quiet and dogs just ignore it. Tracks very well and parks itself to charge for next time. Mop is OK but not great for us as the flooring has small grove texture in the planks and perpendicular mopping doesn't work well. But that's our floor, not the mop. ... show more

We have really loved this vacuum. I have a cat and 2 frenchies so pet hair is a constant issue in my home. This vacuum gets all the hair and even the mop does a great job on my floors. The mapping feature on an app is super easy to manage. When using the mop feature you have to attach the mop part in order for it to activate. The reason I gave it a 4 star is it does not work with the Alexa like the description says it does, so in order to run the machine I always have to use my app and you cant make it run without the app. ... show more

For the last 3 years, all of my friends have made fun of me because I talk about the glory of the Roborock on a daily basis, even at a PTA meetings. All of my friends who took my advice and purchased one have admitted this is a total game changer. I have dark wood floors and multiple area rugs, so as a mother of three with a messy husband, I can’t live without my Roborock. It goes from hardwood to carpet without missing a a beat. Plus, the app is so easy to use. You can set multiple zones and start the vacuum anywhere, no matter how far away you are from home. Set-up is a breeze, nothing intimidating at all.
