I dont know what the heck took me so long to get this little gadget. I absolutely love it and now can't imagine being without it. I can't compare it to the other big names, I just simply can't afford those! But I can tell you this little guy packs a huge punch on results! 1st I must tell you my house is vey small, maybe 1600sq ft inside, only 2 bedrooms. I have no foot traffic at all. No kids. No pets, No shoes inside-sorry thats just the way my husb & I live. So I run my Robo 2 times a week only and he still picks up massive amounts of lint, rug fibers, dust etc.... Programing is super simple, easy to change plans, various options on suction and tweaking the areas you want covered. Robotic absolutely fabulous. Don't be sketched-out on its price point. Seriously its low price is freakin worth it! Like I said I dont know how it would compare to Roomba, and I actually dont care because Roborock is amazing!!! Love Love Love it!!!!

if you're on the fence about if you think a robot vacuum is worth getting and if it'll make a difference in your life, I definitely recommend getting this one. it's simple, I would recommend it for primarily hardware floors or primarily carpet, not a combination of the two since the mop doesn't automatically lift. it's a bit more manual than other robot vacuums since you have to add the mop on yourself, it doesn't Auto empty, but it does act as a gateway to experiencing non-dusty floors with the only maintenance being having to empty the bin roborock is a good brand and the app works well. You can schedule it, block off certain areas, and you can set it to vacuum with higher or lower suction. It also intelligently vacuums thanks to the lidar puck on top, this makes a huge difference over slightly cheaper robot vacuums that don't have the sensor and all they do is bounce around the Walls randomly. We got it on sale for $100, and at 150 or 170. I don't know if I would consider it as worth it, but, for a low 100s price it's really worth it as a starter vacuum.

This is my second robot vacuum and it is far superior to the one I had a few years ago and got rid of because it missed a lot. While this one isn't perfect, it is perfect for managing my dust allergy better because I can run it more frequently than the once weekly I vacuumed on my own. I love how it mapped both levels of my house and I can see on the app where it has already covered. I also love that it has a mop function. Living in the Pacific Northwest, and with dogs, it can get pretty dirty inside even being a shoes-free house. I don't have any carpeting in my house but I do have some area rugs, which you can map on the app so that they do not get mopped. I use a teaspoon of Mrs. Meyers all purpose cleaner concentrate in the tank with water for mopping and it works great. Two downsides: 1) one charge won't last the 1,000-1,200 square feet of one level of the house, it has to go back to the dock to charge before it's done, and 2) running the vacuum/mop function does not work. I have to first run the vacuum function, then later run the mop function. NBD but don't even make it a combo option if it isn't going to work.

I’ve owned four Roborock vacuums — three for my home and one for my mom — so I feel like I can give a fair comparison. My S5 lasted for years and was fantastic. When it finally stopped working, I upgraded to the Q5, which was also solid. The dust compartment wasn’t as convenient for emptying and filling, but overall it performed well. The last two models I purchased, however — especially the Q7 L5 — have been disappointing. First, I absolutely love the app. The mapping is incredible. The robot cleans consistently, line by line, avoids rugs while mopping, and works very methodically. That part is still amazing. Also, higher suction does not automatically mean better cleaning performance. That’s important to understand. My biggest issue with the Q7 L5 is the dustbin and filter design. The bin never looks like it’s picking up as much debris as the S5 or Q5 did — it’s noticeably emptier after cleaning. But the major design flaw is the filter placement and attachment. At some point, without realizing it, I must have thrown the filter out with the dust. I have no idea how long I was vacuuming without it. That is a serious design oversight. The filter should not be that easy to accidentally discard. Because of this one major flaw, I would not recommend this model. It cleans okay, but the filter design is a dealbreaker for me. If I could trade it for the S5, I would.

We've had one of the first model robot vacuums from the og manufacturer which has been a workhorse for us for years! It's the drunk uncle of robots though, no bells and whistles, just your basic robot that runs into everything but gets the job done in some random chaotic pattern. Seeing this on sale and finally just going for it to see how good newer models have gotten (no more separate virtual wall lazers, a nice easy to use app, no more bumping around clumsily!, and more). Well, long story short, they have gotten soooo much better and I'm incredibly glad I gave this one a try. It's is running flawlessly, cleans very well, i love the ease of the app and setting up no-go zones, and pretty much everything else has been an upgrade. Looking forward to many years of our new bot and a cleaner, less noisy, less drunk uncle of a bot around the house. (Don't worry, drunk uncle is still getting his time in down in the basement. He's old reliable at this point and will go as long as he wants to.) This is a great vac that performs wonderfully with all the functions and conveniences I need (i haven't tried the mopping function yet but didn't really buy it for that) at an incredible price point, esp when on sale. If you're looking to upgrade like I did, it's well worth it. If you're looking at your first robot and are unsure if it's something you really need.... trust me, get it. It will save you time, knock one thing off your million item to-do list, and will soon become something you are unsure why it took so long to try.
