  • Nice efficient and quiet vacuum
Size: Q Revo (Black)
Mapped house correctly in 13 minutes. Easy to use, though I did have some issues with connecting to internet. I had to move vacuum into the same room as router before it would connect. Does a great job vacuuming and leaves clean and precise lines. Does a good job with basic light mopping. Does not run into baseboards and sets up its own no go zones. Identifies carpet vs bare floors and you can set it to vacuum all floors and then mop bare floors only. Machine runs quietly. Very happy with purchase. ... show more

  • All of my hopeful expectations were exceeded
Size: Q Revo (Black)
I did have a robot vacuum prior to this purchase but it didn't come close to the features and performance the Roborock Q Revo delivers. A couple of things I didn't like about the old robot is it didn't mop or have a self-emptying dock. The Q Revo robot was very easy to set up and only took about 10 minutes to get it completely ready. Once fully charged I performed the quick mapping run which made a map of my 2200 square foot house in only 12 minutes. Following a full charge, I turned it loose again. During the cleaning process it returned to the dock 5 times to empty the dirty water mop tank, clean the mop heads, and refill it with clean water. In every case it returned back to exactly the same spot where it left off to resume cleaning. It vacuumed and mopped 1400 square feet of floor area before returning to the dock to recharge. Once charging reached 80% it returned where it left off and finished the job. Once finished it made its final return to the dock where it emptied the dust bin, dirty water container, dried the mop heads and added clean water to the robot. It made a very detailed map of the house showing every track the machine took, divided the house into rooms, and even identified where it mopped and where it vacuumed. It did all this without getting stuck anywhere. Equally impressive is the application. Once you have a map you can add no go zones, invisible walls, identify floor type (hard surface or carpet), split rooms into separate rooms, merge multiple rooms into one and just about anything else you want to do to make the next cleaning more efficient. After you organize the map to your liking you can have the machine mop only, vacuum only, clean certain rooms or spots you identify on the map, and it will only clean those areas. Another thing worth mentioning is that the vacuum part of the machine is just in front of the mop heads, so it vacuums hard surfaces and mops all in one pass. On the very first complete house cleaning the robot was able to identify every hard surface from every carpet area and it never once made a mistake in doing that, so I didn't find it necessary to reidentify surface types for each area on the map. This robot performed effortlessly with no intervention by me. In summary, I had hopeful expectations prior to my purchase and the performance of this robot exceeded all of them. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could, and I am very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Does not last, avoid
Size: Q Revo (Black)
Very disappointing quality over time. I use this for a single floor, under 2k sqft. Runs daily, 2 days doing vac and mop. Clean the unit once or twice a week. Have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so there's plenty to grab daily, no matter if we follow the critters around. Starting out, the vac worked really well. Mop worked good, normal cleaning kept up. Experimented with the suction power, water flow and zoning to force the bin to empty more often as it easily gets clogged. Within the first year, started getting the sensor errors and the vac becomes completely useless. Was able to send in for repairs easily enough, although the support is a little silly. They want you to video the vac having problems. Around 3w turnaround time and got the same unit back. Looked like they may have replaced a couple of the sensors. You can't take them out to clean yourself. Vac worked for about a month and then sensor errors again. So it's a 13 month old heap of plastic with no value now. Could not recommend this unless you basically already have a spotless house. Maybe for people without pets it works better. The app, while it does work, needs so much work. Confusing interface, especially setting up jobs and schedules. No options to adjust the sensors. No options to dump the bin except on a per room/zone basis. If you have a large area, you have to break things down into zones, each being a separate job, so it will think its completed something and dump. Design opens itself to get dirty very easily. Why make a vac that has so many indentations, open wheels and places all over the bottom for crap to collect? Apparently someone in marketing thought looks matter more than function. Ideally a vac is solid, with no crooks and crannies for hair/dust to accumulate. Very poor design not thought out. Not bothering with a replacement or repair this time as it appears this brand just can't last. Had a rumba previously that software support ended on (geez, now our vac is like a phone that stops getting support), so was fed up with them. Although the vac itself still mostly works after 6 years. Guess its hard to beat a regular old broom and mop, especially considering what you pay for this type of device. ... show more
