After the cover was on the pool, we wound up the cable. Before we could tighten completely, the end washer fell off and the item was useless. The washer was not correctly attached. Fortunately, we had the turnbuckle saved from the last cover, which only lasted 2 years before falling apart. Not sure I'll buy another. ... show more

We have bought this same pool cover several times. It works great for our above ground pool. It usually lasts 2-3 seasons. Our pool can get a lot of wind during the late winter/early spring so we usually have to replace because the rivets are pulling out from strong winds.
