Very good product. Took a few tries before my cat realized she needed to jump out the top, but once she did she loved it. However, after a while she completely punched out the door for no apparent reason, so it could use a little more durability. It is a nice size, easy to clean, and I love all the features that goes into making sure your silly cat does not throw litter in all direction. When she unexpectedly had 6 kitties, it stood the test of endurance and vitality in the time that it took for us to buy more boxes for the kittens. My friend ordered this, so I was able to see how it looked before I purchased it. It's a nice looking unit, several color choices, and it keeps litter in the box and spread all over the floor. I didn't find it that easy to assemble (I actually asked my friend to put it together for me) and it's not the sturdiest either. For the price, I expected a heavier plastic. I really like that the litter pan slides out of the unit, like a drawer, and my cats seem to like it.

Wow! I was really hoping that this cat litter box will be useful. My cat is quite wild who sprays, so I need to have a closed box--currently using iglu. I was hoping that this will solve the problem also with tracking. My first problem was that the box is quite flimsy. Which may or may not be OK if you have a heavy cat or a wild one that jumps around in a litter box. The second, and the biggest problem is that the cat can go into the litter box via the door flap but can't come out that way. It literally has to jump to the top through a hole. I understand that the benefit is/would be that the top is full of little holes so the litter can fall back and it reduces the tracking, but it assumes that all cats will know what to do and not panic inside the litter box! I have not tried it, since I took it apart and sent it back right away, but I could just see my cat scratching the closed door flap to get out! While many cats like to be inside a box, my cat was never attracted to boxes and so I didn't see her inside a box feeling comfortable knowing she couldn't come out the way she went in. I was very disappointed.

Easy to clean? Yes, unless your cat pees right on the sides. It’ll seep in to the base and that is very challenging to sanitize. I followed multiple suggestions of leaving the door off for a few weeks to help the cats adjust. I was successful with this suggestion. The lid I received came with a broken tab so it wouldn’t latch. Once I added the door and the cats started using the top exit, the lid snapped and split. I was a few days past the return time frame, so that was very unfortunate. I’m bummed because it was a decent amount of money to spend. Other than that, it’s less of an eye sore than past litter boxes. Helps keeps odor to a minimum. Litter mess is at a minimum as well (aside from the few times the girls have panicked while inside and jumped out the top too quickly).

I liked how easy it was to put together, the only thing was one of the leak strips did not fit all the way down, but it still will work. My kitty can get in and out very easy and she likes it a lot so far. No litter on the floor either, yay! Overall, I like it and I'm very happy but it is kinda expensive for cheap plastic. Update: My cat has been using this for a month and it has held up great! The plastic has not been an issue and I have had no problems whatsoever changing out the litter like everyone else says. For me, it is not hard to open at all. Two of the leak-guards did eventually fall off over time, an easy fix, however I don't really need them because my cat doesn't use the litter box from the top. Overall, I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! It looks great and my cat loves it.
