Very good product. Took a few tries before my cat realized she needed to jump out the top, but once she did she loved it. However, after a while she completely punched out the door for no apparent reason, so it could use a little more durability. It is a nice size, easy to clean, and I love all the features that goes into making sure your silly cat does not throw litter in all direction. When she unexpectedly had 6 kitties, it stood the test of endurance and vitality in the time that it took for us to buy more boxes for the kittens. (Also, does anyone want kittens, there are two left that need a home; they're kind of nice I promise)

I like the pull out drawer. Really my only complaint is that it’s definitely not leak proof on the sides. The sides come together not very well. If you have a “stand up pee-er” and it hits the side just right it will absolutely leak on the floor. Scooper lasted about 6 months before it snapped (I have a diabetic and CKD cat so LOTS of large pee clumps).

Wow! I was really hoping that this cat litter box will be useful. My cat is quite wild who sprays, so I need to have a closed box--currently using iglu. I was hoping that this will solve the problem also with tracking. My first problem was that the box is quite flimsy. Which may or may not be OK if you have a heavy cat or a wild one that jumps around in a litter box. The second, and the biggest problem is that the cat can go into the litter box via the door flap but can't come out that way. It literally has to jump to the top through a hole. I understand that the benefit is/would be that the top is full of little holes so the litter can fall back and it reduces the tracking, but it assumes that all cats will know what to do and not panic inside the litter box! I have not tried it, since I took it apart and sent it back right away, but I could just see my cat scratching the closed door flap to get out! While many cats like to be inside a box, my cat was never attracted to boxes and so I didn't see her inside a box feeling comfortable knowing she couldn't come out the way she went in. I was very disappointed.

It does seem like they put thought into the design of this litter box, but overall, it has more flaws and is more complicated than it needs to be. First of all putting it together isn't very easy - the pieces are held together by small plastic pegs that fit into the holds of the other pieces. The drawer which is supposed to make it easy to clean the litter sits under a ledge that goes around the entire interior of the box. This ledge becomes an area that the litter gets kicked up onto. The holes in the top grate - the idea is that the movement of the cat jumping on top will knock the sand back through the holes which doesn't really happen. The scoop that comes with the litter box is too large to successfully bring poop out of the top hole and pulling the drawer out will send the litter on the ledges down onto the plastic which is just all in all more complicated . I'm going back to my other litterbox which was simple, modern looking and only had a lid with a bottom - I could lift the whole letterbox from the hole. This one, you'd have to lift it from the bottom to move it as the top comes off.

I liked how easy it was to put together, the only thing was one of the leak strips did not fit all the way down, but it still will work. My kitty can get in and out very easy and she likes it a lot so far. No litter on the floor either, yay! Overall, I like it and I'm very happy but it is kinda expensive for cheap plastic. Update: My cat has been using this for a month and it has held up great! The plastic has not been an issue and I have had no problems whatsoever changing out the litter like everyone else says. For me, it is not hard to open at all. Two of the leak-guards did eventually fall off over time, an easy fix, however I don't really need them because my cat doesn't use the litter box from the top. Overall, I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! It looks great and my cat loves it.
