Very good product. Took a few tries before my cat realized she needed to jump out the top, but once she did she loved it. However, after a while she completely punched out the door for no apparent reason, so it could use a little more durability. It is a nice size, easy to clean, and I love all the features that goes into making sure your silly cat does not throw litter in all direction. When she unexpectedly had 6 kitties, it stood the test of endurance and vitality in the time that it took for us to buy more boxes for the kittens. (Also, does anyone want kittens, there are two left that need a home; they're kind of nice I promise)

Difficult to clean, but otherwise we love this liter box for our male kitten! Especially if you’re concerned about them spraying. The 4 walls are ideal.

Wow! I was really hoping that this cat litter box will be useful. My cat is quite wild who sprays, so I need to have a closed box--currently using iglu. I was hoping that this will solve the problem also with tracking. My first problem was that the box is quite flimsy. Which may or may not be OK if you have a heavy cat or a wild one that jumps around in a litter box. The second, and the biggest problem is that the cat can go into the litter box via the door flap but can't come out that way. It literally has to jump to the top through a hole. I understand that the benefit is/would be that the top is full of little holes so the litter can fall back and it reduces the tracking, but it assumes that all cats will know what to do and not panic inside the litter box! I have not tried it, since I took it apart and sent it back right away, but I could just see my cat scratching the closed door flap to get out! While many cats like to be inside a box, my cat was never attracted to boxes and so I didn't see her inside a box feeling comfortable knowing she couldn't come out the way she went in. I was very disappointed.

We've actually bought 3 of these now (3 kittens). Feral kittens and they had to learn how to use kitty litter inside. First we had an open, cheap plastic pan. Messy at best. We bought the first one of these, had to leave the bottom pulled out for a few days then pushed inside and they went right in. Then decided these are worth the money, bought the second one. The 3rd kitty came from same parents and we were hoping to foster. Clearly we are foster failures, it is now my kitty and the other two are my daughter's. Anyway, bought a 3rd one & went through the same issues until the 3rd one understood. I highly recommend these, yes some kitty litter gets out on the mat. Get a good mat, it grabs most of that! Easy to pull out the drawer and easy to clean. One of the best parts is the hanger on the kitty litter scoop! My opinion, this is such a great product, highly recommend!
