Product works well and functioned as intended for a stock tank pool inlet for an Intex 12” sand filter/pump combo. Many reviews will tell you to use a 3 3/4 inch hole saw. I would disagree with this. I used a 3 5/8 inch hole saw and everything fit super nice with a lot smaller gap. The Intex hoses that came with the pump screwed right onto these. You can feel suction which is nice but it is very focused. The ability to turn off the valve and service the pump and hoses without losing water is nice. One thing to keep in mind with this fitting you will not be able directly hook up a pool vacuum hose without turning this off and disconnecting the hose at the pump, taking the inlet screen off and finding a hose adaptor, or figuring out a way to get a hose to fit over the assembly. I am going to try to do the latter with rubber hose connectors and some pvc from Lowe’s if there is a rubber connector large enough to fit over the outside cap.

Bought a Coleman 22x52 pool at Wal-Mart. It DID NOT COME WITH the part for hole A. After giving up on trying to contact them for a replacement I found this! The price, look, and quality is spot on! Highly recommend! I ordered it on July 1st said it would deliver July 11th and got it today July 6th!! Very happy with my purchase!

I bought these as an upgrade for a 16 x 32 Intex pool. Installation was easy although a little scary cutting on a pool that was full of water slightly above the cutout area but surprisingly lost very little water. I do have a very slight leak from time to time that comes and goes but it is very minimal. The next time I lower the water level I may redo it and clean the liner on the inside or maybe add a second gasket. This is on a rectangular pool so the walls are not as straight as a round pool which may be the issue. But other than that, I am very pleased as the OEM intakes never sat flush with the wall on the inside which looked bad. These look like what should have been shipped with the pool and look more like the return port.

I have an above ground pool 16x32 and the parts are hard to find. Tried a few that did not work then found this. Saved our summer.

Works great. PVCed my pool from old 1 1/4” to a true 1 1/2” pvc. Used this to replace the intex 1” inlet. Cut off valve is a plus. Didn’t have to buy an additional cutoff off valve. Just used the rubber washer and traced over inlet and cut with a razor blade. Worked perfect no leaks. I use a skimmer and I use inlet for when I need to work in skimmer and or replace sock.
