Straight out of the box my ring doorbell was 31%. I put it on the charger and after almost 24hrs I'm at 61%... No way this is how it's supposed to be. The mounting features seem cheap too. I'm not sure I like this upgrade. I definitely think I got a defect. Update: You have to reboot the device to get it to show the correct information. I bought the solar panel with this as well. The charge never reaches 100% even on the brightest days. I really thought the picture quality when zooming in and panning would be better as well. It's an alright device. Another update: The device keeps randomly going offline. The old one never did this. And now the settings just change on their own. I am now being notified everytime my husband goes outside. It goes off like a doorbell. No settings were changed to cause this. It just started doing it on its own. Customer service started sending me emails without my request asking to set up a call to troubleshoot, which is very fishy.

These were easy to set up and install. We got it for our front door and love how it easily connected to our already set up account from a previous place we were renting that had a ring doorbell. I love the quality of the video.

Great deal for the ring doorbell and chime for a good price. Love the way they work together. I can keep an eye out on my deliveries and who comes and goes from my house. Easy install and not to bad on price for subscription.

I feel like my old style ring door bell was better. This one is supposed to have a better camera and all but it does not have as wide of a picture. It's supposed to be retinal lens but it does not pick up but a narrow area. I mean they work and I can see people at my door. But the picture quality seems to be missing some where, probably because they want you to buy the pro.
