The mount fits securely and installs easily without any tools or drilling—perfect for renters or anyone who doesn’t want to damage their door. The anti-theft design feels sturdy and gives me peace of mind, especially since my doorbell is more exposed to foot traffic. The only downside is the placement of the doorbell once mounted—it sits very close to the edge of the door, which slightly limits the camera’s field of view. What a great find! I rarely review, but this device fits the current Ring Battery Doorbell versions perfect and is so easy to move the location as needed. This is for both a better viewing angle and for leasing/rental doors. It fits on either side of the door and I use it on the hinge side. It does not obstruct the camera and leaves the door unblemished. You remove it to charge the battery and then take out one screw to get to the battery. If someone wants it bad enough, they may succeed, but they will work hard for it! I never receive free products, but am OCD and it drives me crazy looking at all the conflicting Amazon reviews. I hope this makes it easier to decide and act.
