  • Nice for the money
This bike is good for the money. However, I am 5'6 and I feel like I lean over too far when using the handlebars. I would prefer they be little higher. The seat is uncomfortable. So I put a towel over it, no big deal.

  • RIF6 You Broke My Heart.
RIF6 - You broke my heart. This is my first and only Amazon review. Bike came yesterday. Was so excited to do some cardio at home. Waiting all week for this apparatus to arrive. It did. It was very heavy, but that meant it was substantial. Took about a hour to put the thing together, very easy except for its overall wieght. Here is your first clue RIF6 has not idea what's going on. Listing says 40 pounds. Then they claim the flywheel itself is 35 pounds. The entire bike is probably somewhere around 100 - 140 pounds Anyways, put the Bike together. Looked beautiful. Was super pumped up. Jumped on and started peddling. Disaster struck. The pedals are barely in tune with the wheel. It makes a terrible sound. Absolutely no resistance what so ever. I could not believe it was this bad. Honestly I would never have believed a company could manufacture a bike this poorly. Figured I had to have something wrong, so looked at the RIF6 packaging (which is awesome by the way) and website. I guess RIF6 makes office desks and chairs, look for yourself. Probably started making bikes during the pandemic. They should definitely stop. As far as I can tell the frame/flywheel has somehow been bent or warped. Regardless, even if it wasn't, this thing would not work. The resistance is just not suitable to be called an exercise bike, much less a spinning bike. For a spin bike to be a spin bike, you have to be able to "hill climb". Basically this company has manufactured a beautiful metal works that can sit in your house and look like a spin bike. For anyone that works out, Im warning you- This is not a spin bike. Do not buy this thing. If you are content with sitting on a exercise bike and moving your feet around pedals with no resistance to pretend you are working out, then this is the perfect solution for you. Immediately requested a refund, which Amazon processed and said I could keep the bike..except I don't want it because its not a spin bike and doesn't work. I will probably leave it outside with a free note on it. Dreading carrying 140 pounds of a mess down my apartment steps. Tried ordering a Sunny Bike, will see how that goes. Otherwise I will get a rowing machine. Fellow workout people, you have been warned. **Edit October 1st.* Ordered A Sunny BF1002. Which came today. Not as pretty as the RIF6, but it’s 100X better in functionality. It’s an actual spin bike without the bells and whistles. Left the RIF6 outside at the dumpster yesterday and some poor sap took it. As a fitness aficionado, I’m calling you out RIF6. You are producing a scam product and selling it to fitness newbs that don’t know any better. Amazon why are you sponsoring this? DO NOT BUY THIS. ... show more

  • Some modification required, but not bad for the money.
I purchased this bike as a birthday present for my wife as she really enjoys going to spin class but her schedule doesn’t always align with the classes. Ease of assembly/Quality: The bike was quick and easy to assemble with the included tools and instructions. However, due to the quality control, some modification was required. The handle bar mounting tube was crooked when it was welded onto the frame (see attached photo). I reached out to the manufacturer through the customer support portal on their website and have yet to receive a response (around 5 days ago). To remedy the crooked tube, I had to re-drill the 4 mounting holes for the handlebars. Adjustability: My wife is 5’5” and had to max out the adjustment for the seat and handlebars. If you’re taller than her, this bike will likely be too small for you. Value: I purchased the bike on sale for around $120. I would say that’s a fair price for the quality level and basic features of this bike. It’s currently listed at $400, which I believe is overpriced due to the lack of quality control and adjustability. ... show more

  • Nice and timely customer support.
The bike arrived within a couple of days from order, very good. Assembly was easy to follow and complete. However, I had a faulty seat slide adjustment part where the knob “froze” part way so I couldn’t tighten it to frame. I removed it from frame to try to tighten it all the way off the frame. It tightened closer to full way but not entirely. And then the knob froze completely! I couldn’t get the knob off either. I contacted seller to get replacement part. They didn’t have any parts, they said, so they shipped be a new bike instead. They were gracious and expeditious, although I thought it odd no spare parts available. New bike arrived quickly, I opened box and removed the 2 parts I needed and returned the newer bike, and finished assembly of original. Just starting to ride it. Seems great! A little noisy but not bad. Otherwise I’d give it all 5’s. Company was nice to work with and very responsive. ... show more

  • Great intro to spin!
I’ve got another much more expensive spin cycle that I’ve been using for working out. My wife wanted to join and start herself but wasn’t sure if she’d continue to like it. With a bunch of options for cheaper spin cycles on Amazon I came across this one due to its flywheel weight. It can nearly consistently perform as well as my $1500 machine, although it doesn’t have many of the smart features - which is OK because this bike isn’t supposed to! I should also mention that this bike uses physical resistance vs magnetic or other methods by more expensive spin bikes. What this means is the resistance is set by a mechanical mechanism that drives something similar to a brake pad to the flywheel so you might get some noise. I’m very impressed with it for the price we paid and I’d recommend it to anybody looking to start off a better lifestyle without much coin! ... show more
