Nice product & to be honest, purchase was swayed by price. This is the most inexpensive model I could find on Amazon but was not disappointed with the build or quality!! Only have one(1) negative point to discuss regarding this unit and that's why I gave it 4 stars!! The attachments, (2) one hand crank and one power tool crank adapter where well built & relatively heavy duty, however the hole on the giant threaded bolt (that is used to raise the lift) that the attachment mounting screw goes through was NOT drilled exactly in the center of the threaded lift bolt!! This means when I attached the adapters (either one, hand or power), the mounting bolt would not go through the lift bolt. So I had to make a simple modification to the hand crank & power crank adapters by drilling one side of the mounting bolt holes larger. Once doing this, I used a washer to compensate for the bigger hole on one side of the adapters so that the mounting bolt head or nut would not slip through the bigger sized hole. This was an effective modification and the lift works great!! But at the price point of this unit, I don't believe I should have to make modifications to it to make it work!! All the manufacturer had to do is ensure that the mounting bolt hole on the end of the threaded lift bolt was drilled exactly through the center of the lift bolt. I was not sure if this would be worth it, but it is. It arrived on time, was packaged well and was easy to assemble. I bought it to change blades on my John Deere Lawn tractor. It easily raised the machine, and I only went halfway up, and it was room enough to get under and replace the one blade and clean the deck. Probably could have done both but I didn't want to get all the way under the machine. Turned the machine around and easily did the second one. I think this is a good unit for occasional use and not having to go through all the steps to remove the deck.

I have a Craftsman YT4000 42" Riding Mower., weight around 600 lbs This lift only lifts the back end and wheels off the ground. The front end and wheels stay flat on the ground causing the mower to twist and and the back wheels to shift awkwardly on the lift....not safe to work under. I would need a second lift for the front of the mower to make this work safely. I will be returning.

The media could not be loaded. Minus 1 star for all negative comments. The chain that keeps track of crank screw lock is broken. Nothing serious, see pictures. I will fix it with JB Weld. Also. No one seems to want to show how this will work with a zero turn mower. They say it does but all the pictures seem to be riders. So, I posted the pics today of my Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 42" zero turn mower. The mower weighs about 550 lbs according to the manufacturer. This is the only one I found on Amazon that was wide enough for my 43.5" wide, at the tires, mower. Measure before you buy and check the details. Zeroturns have a wider wheel base than riders. I also have a video raising it with a cordless drill. The drill battery was low and I had already gone up and down a couple of times before the video. Looks like that will be no problem. I do have another comment. The crank handle should be usable with the drill adapter. Have the inside slide onto the 11/32 hex shaft for the drill adapter. This would make it switch without tools. Just slide it over and crank. I may have to rig something. 😆 🤣 😂 The strap for the tire was too short for the tires on my zeroturn. Fortunately I have webbing and can make an extention. Not that it matters so much for me. I jack it uphill so when I'm working on the mower, it's a little higher than level. Not a steep enough angle to roll over off the jack. All in all. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend this item. UPDATE: the JB Weld did not hold the chain. Yet. 😆 🤣 😂 One more thing. Be sure to put grease on the screw. Not much needed and run it up and down a few times without the mower to spread it evenly. WARNING if you're doing this with a drill. Keep it slow or you will sling grease everywhere. 😆 🤣 😂
