All parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were simple to follow. It took us about an hour and a half from unboxing to fully assembled.     • Sturdy enough for a teenage boy
My son (17 weighing 130lbs) has been using this frame for almost six months and so far there hasn’t been any issues with it. It’s quite sturdy and so far no problems with squeaking as he moves around in the night. The outlet works great on it. The shelf isn’t super wide but it’s good for items such as a phone, controllers, and well let’s be honest, he’s a teenager so of course there’s dishes in his room and cups fit perfectly on that shelf! The gap between the pad and frame is probably my only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars. We have an 8 inch mattress and there’s still probably a good 6 inch gap between the pad and the top of the mattress so he does tend to have pillows fall down into that gap. I think they could’ve brought the pad down further just to prevent a gap at all. Other than that, it’s a nice, sturdy frame. The trundle has came in handy for friend sleepovers! The wheels roll nicely even on carpet and it fits perfectly underneath the bed frame, however, you need to line it up just right or you’ll have some issues with it fitting properly. It’s easy enough to wheel around even still. The instructions weren’t terrible to understand but there’s not any written instructions, only pictures to follow which were fairly easy to figure out which each piece was unlike some instructions, this one was fairly easy to follow. ... show more

Very solid, beautiful bed! Not too hard to put together. I did most of it myself, but my husband helped when I asked him to. It took a few hours. Directions were very good. Everything in the box was perfect. No noise when you lay on it.

I searched for this trundle bed for a long time and after reading several reviews I am glad I chose this one! The main reason I chose this bed was because it allows for a thicker mattress for the trundle. We have a 10 inch memory foam mattress being used on the trundle and it slide in/out easily. This bed took about two hours for my inexperienced self and 12-year-old daughter to put together. What a disaster this turned out to be got it and it is very bulky but do able BUT after 2 weeks it started creaking attempted to stop the noise at every turn and 2 weeks later it started sagging in the front of the frame now this thing says 1000 lb limit and my grown son sleeps on this less than 200 lbs and it was not even worth the money at all for this thing how convient it held up just long enough not to return such a disappointment BE AWARE if it starts making noises just return it if not im pretty sure it will also start to sag on the frame and become worthless as well very bad quality .. ... show more

The quality of this is okay. It looks great when it’s put together. It was relatively easy to put together. It took us about 1.5 hours to do so. However, I have a few issues with it. For starters the pull out bed is not attached to the bed at all, it’s a completely independent rolling mattress. I do not like that at all. I really wish there was some sort of rail to attach it to the frame. I also hate the gap between the mattress and the back board. My child is small, and can definitely fall through that crack, so we will have to find some sort of way to fix that issue ourselves. ... show more
