Speed and distance isn't accurate with running on the screen, but never had issues while running with it skipping or anything. I am on the heavier side and still no problems. I had this treadmill for about 10 months. It worked well in the beginning. It fit perfectly in my office. After about 6 months of use, my granddaughter would walk on it and say that it would shut off by itself. I hadn't experienced that but I believed her but kind of brushed it off. It had started by itself after I had finished using it a couple of times. That's when I started to make sure I turned it off after using it. Tonight when I was using it, it did stop by itself, and with about 5 minutes left of my workout, I started to smell something burning. That's when I knew it was toast!
