This bedding has helped to stop my chicken coop from smelling like a truck stop bathroom! The bedding absorbs every dropping from under their roost & I'm able to sift out the clumps with ease. It's expensive! BUT again, when you're able to sift out each clump (compared to pine shavings), this bedding will go a long way. It has no smell & it's soft. My only wish is that it wasn't as expensive as it is. I have this on subscription until I find a cheaper alternative.

I’m really impressed with this chicken bedding. It's low dust so thats a huge win, it keeps the coop cleaner and the air so much nicer for the chickens. The free shipping is honestly amazing too. If you buy directly from the company’s website, the shipping alone is almost the same price as the product, so getting it here feels like a steal. You also get way more than you expect. It’s super compacted, so once you open it up, it fluffs out into a surprisingly large amount of bedding. It’s very absorbent and my chickens actually enjoy pecking at it from time to time. Overall, great value and great quality. Highly recommend!

Great for chicken coop, deep litter method. Draws amonia away from top layer and only change 1-2 times a year. I use inside coop only with sand outside.

As a first-time chicken owner, I wanted to ensure my coop was as clean and comfortable as possible for my flock, and this premium hemp bedding has met my expectations so far! The first thing I noticed was how absorbent it is—moisture is not an issue, and odors are practically nonexistent. Even after a few weeks of use, the coop stays fresh with the deep litter method, which makes my chores much easier to manage in winter. The quality is excellent. These bedding is exactly as promised. I use a kitty litter scooper to clean our nesting boxes and it's very easy. The size of the individual pieces slips right through my scoop, leaving only the poo from my chickens. It's very soft on their feet, doesn't poke like straw does, and creates significantly LESS dust in the coop. My ONLY complaint is the price as it's quite a bit more expensive when compared to pine flakes and/or shavings.

Love this bedding. Hemp is the way to go and this is the best one I have found. However, It definitely is not dust free. No bedding is. This is highly absorbent and I don't have to clean my coop as often because of this. I will continue to order.
