Description

Work Smart, Enjoy Yard The spark for this innovation was ignited by our founder, a former DJI team leader with eight years of experience in pioneering drone technology. Witnessing the struggles of the elderly mowing their lawns in the scorching heat, he was driven by a question: "How can we make mowing effortless for everyone?" This reflection marked the beginning of Mowrator. Embarking on this venture two years ago, our core team, with roots in DJI, dove into R&D. Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store How should I store the battery if I won’t be using it for a long time in WINTER? Before long-term storage, charge the battery to 70% (3 indicator bars) and store it in a cool, dry place (0–35°C / 32–95°F), away from heat and sunlight. Lithium batteries self-discharge 2–5% monthly—avoid full discharge to prevent permanent damage. What’s the difference between the Mowrator S1 2WD and 4WD models? The main difference is slope capability The S1 2WD is designed for slopes up to 45% (24°). The S1 4WD is built for steep terrain, handling slopes up to 75% (37°) with standard tires, 85% (40°) with wide tires, and 119% (50°) with deformable tires Is there a difference in cutting height between the Mowrator S1 2WD and 4WD? Yes. The S1 4WD offers a cutting height range of 1.5–4.3 inches, and it can handle grass up to 51 inches in height. The S1 2WD has a cutting height range of 1.8–4.6 inches, and it is suitable for grass up to 28 inches in height. How long does the battery last, and how much area can the Mowrator S1 mow? 18Ah battery: ~2h 15min runtime, up to 1.125 acres; charges in ~90 min. 12Ah battery: ~1h 30min runtime, up to 0.75 acres; charges in ~70 min. Actual runtime depends on blade type, grass height, and terrain. How safe is the Mowrator S1 remote lawn mower? The Mowrator S1 is designed with safety in mind: it has 4 ultrasonic sensors to avoid collisions, a front bumper for extra protection, and sensors that slow and stop the blades if the mower tilts or flips.

  • Effortless Lawn Care
Style: 4WD12Ah
The Remote Control Lawn Mower S1 4WD has transformed my approach to lawn maintenance, providing a blend of technology and convenience that makes keeping my grass tidy enjoyable. Its early arrival, four days ahead of schedule, was a welcome surprise, and the initial unboxing experience was straightforward with clear instructions. Thanks to its thoughtful design and quality materials, Assembly was a veritable cinch and took barely any time. Once up and running, the real fun began—mowing the lawn has never been this engaging, allowing me to tend to my garden from a comfortable distance without battling pollen, bugs, or the scorching sun. This mower's remote control functionality empowers me to address trimming needs from the comfort of my porch. Its ability to handle slopes up to 37° on its 0.75-acre range is impressive, and the adjustable cutting height offers flexibility for different grass types. Despite its ability, a clear line of sight is essential for safe operation, which can be a minor limitation when maneuvering around trees or garden decorations. The sensors are designed to prevent accidents, which is reassuring, although they can occasionally render the mower temporarily inoperable in simple terrains. Being on the pricier side means it doesn't come cheap, but compared to other models online, it mirrors a real mowing experience more closely than any I’ve seen. With that in mind, I give this product a solid 5 out of 5 stars. It's a fantastic investment for anyone who enjoys a tidy lawn with minimal effort and maximized entertainment. Should any issues arise as I use it over the coming months, I’ll make sure to provide an update about its continued performance. ... show more

  • Great little mower
Style: 4WD12Ah
This thing is an absolute beast. The Mowrator RC mower is surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is, which makes a huge difference when you’re running it for a while. It cuts clean and handles the yard like a champ, no bogging down, no missed spots. The remote control is a game changer. It turns on a dime and makes it super easy to maneuver around trees, fences, and tight spots without breaking a sweat. Honestly, it makes mowing almost fun. Overall, it’s powerful, smooth, and incredibly convenient. Definitely impressed with how well it performs. ... show more

  • Great mower for steep slopes.
Style: 4WD12Ah
Our front yard is too steep for a riding mower and very difficult to mow with a walk behind mower. The Mowrator S1 AWD works great. It is expensive but is built better than any mower I have owned.

  • Very good mower
Style: 4WD12Ah
Easy to use and quality built. So quiet I sometimes have to take my headphones off to hear it running. Battery lasts and could do a yard 3 times the size of mine before needing to be charged. Being uneaven ground the 4x4 option is great and never slips. Takes up less space than my old push mower and does a decent job of cutting. Had an issue and customer service was quick to respond with actual help. Very satisfied. The only things I would change would be being able to turn off the collision sensor (running into blackberry vines can stop it) and disabling the tilt sensor in the remote (so I could be driving on a long straight run with the controller in one hand and at my side). Definitely recommended. ... show more

  • The Grass Whisperer The Grass Whisperer
Style: 4WD12Ah
I needed a mower that could do more with less—less strain, less sweat—especially in the North Texas heat. The MOWRATOR delivered. It’s precise, powerful, and poetry in motion. I liked it so well, I named mine MowRaptor, because it stalks the lawn with righteous intent. It mows my moderate yard on a single charge, and the remote control battery lasts through two full mowings. The shipping container was impressively sturdy, protecting the mower from even the worst abuse. If you’re looking for a tool that cuts with ease and plenty of power, this is it. The MOWRATOR earns its title one blade at a time. A quick update. Being a Design Draftsman, I designed a hitch for MOWRATOR. It's able the pull my trash cart to and from the road for trash pickup, pull the garden cart with a seat, pull the fertilizer for my yard, and pull the garden wagon. One machine, endless possibilities. This is what I needed for the hitch: Nilight - 90027B 2PCS LED Light Bar Horizontal Bar Clamp Mounting Kit Fit on 0.75" 1" 1.25" Bull Bars Roof Racks Roll Cages for ATV UTV and Trucks, 2 Years Warranty, and Universal Towing Hitch Kit 3/4" Zero Turn Mower Hitch and 1/2" Magnetic Lawn Mower Trailer Hitch Pin (Red Black). ... show more

  • Great on hills, turning needs to be fixed
Style: 4WD12Ah
This thing is a beast. I purchased the 4WD version because I have some very steep hills on my property that my riding mower often has difficulty climbing, even with tractor tires on the back. This mower has no problems at all climbing these hills. It works best going straight up and down. Even with the crazy high price, it is worth it since it does so well with hills. The mower seems to be built with quality materials and is very solid (and heavy). Assembly was very easy, just need to attach the wheels. The battery comes in and out easily and the remote, once you get used to it, is easy to use. It really is just like driving a remote-control toy car. So why only 4 stars and not 5? There is a design or software defect related to the zero-radius turning. When turning, the wheels instantly go to full speed - actually, seems like they are going even faster than the fastest forward speed. This causes a couple of problems. On flat ground they spin so fast they can dig dirt patches in the grass. Second, when turning more than just a little bit on a hill the mower loses traction. I contacted customer support and was told to go easy on the turning joy stick on the remote so the wheels do not spin. That does not work. Different pressure on the joy stick does not change the speed at all – it is either on fully or off – it is not possible to have them spin slower. What does work, with practice, is pushing the joy stick on and off for split seconds so the wheels engage and disengage quickly, though this not foolproof nor easy to do. The switch on the remote to reduce the maximum forward speed has no impact on the turning, either. Hopefully they release a firmware update that addresses this defect. But even with the turning issue, I am very happy so far with the mower and its performance. ... show more

  • Why are there no used Mowrator's, too fun to let go.
Style: 4WD12Ah
Grass just don't grow fast enough to use this mower. Very fun to mow now. For the cost of a lawn service ($4,750.00) for a Year. Just buy a MOWRATOR and it turns a chore into enjoyment and satisfaction of a job that goes very fast.

  • Built tough and fun to operate.
Style: 4WD12Ah
Im impressed. I wanted a mower that didn't take up a bunch of space in the garage but also don't want to have to push mow the yard. The autonomous mowers don't seem to have any power for heavy dense grass. This thing has no problem. No it's not autonomous, to me thats a plus. Fun and easy to operate and it's built very robust. As long as the electronics don't have an issue I see no reason this mower won't last a very long time. I have .34 acres, when all the mowing is done I still have 30% battery left. I got the 4 wheel drive with the 12ah battery. Overall very pleased. Tough machine and fun to operate. The finished mow is also very good and clean. ... show more
