A fake one or Vera Wang doesn't do their quality control any more?
Size: Queen
Color: Pewter
I suspect if my newly ordered grey duvet cover is a fake Vera Wang product or Vera Wang doesn't do their quality control on their products. My daughter purchased a white Vera Wang duvet cover with the same pattern a few months ago from a well known store online. We like its well made quality, pattern , and softness. I saw the same product was on sale at Amazon and purchased a grey one. That's a big disappointment. It's poorly made and the texture is very rough. I thought it might become softer after a wash. However, after a wash(delicate cycle) and a low temperature dry, it shrunk, became all winkled, and is still very rough. Then I compared it to my daughter's white one. (Please see the attached photos of the good white one and the bad grey ones for comparisons.) The patterns look similar but the grey one has less threads on its pattern. They are made differently with different material, and maybe by different manufactures. I will return it. I don't know if I should lose my confidence with Amazon's vendors or Vera Wang's products. The good thing is that at least Amazon backups its sale and offers a refund.

Expect fading, shrinkage. Thin weave waffle.
Size: Queen
Color: Pewter
I bought the dark grey. Really seems that it will fade out quickly and look chalky. (The people who do the laundry will understand.) And will also require ironing. The weave is too sparse for it not to. Sent back.

Good quality
Size: Queen
Color: White
It runs small for a queen bed but is very soft and good looking

Get it!!!
Size: King
Color: Midnight
Definitely need to wash first for the ideal patter and softness. After washing and drying the waffle patter drunk up to my desire and its very comfortable. Not too hot and heavy, but also just enough to keep me warm.

Clean
Size: King
Color: White
Clean and simple. The shams seem larger than a king and I wish they had more structure

Modern Style
Size: Queen
Color: Pewter
I'm very happy with this purchase. When it arrived, there was no texture. I washed it before putting it on the bed, and it has so much depth to it now. The look is modern and sophisticated. It has only been washed once, so I can't attest to how well it will hold up wash after wash but it was great after the first washing. I will add pictures later.

Disappointed & off-color
Size: Queen
Color: White
Eh, just “OK”. For anyone who associates Vera Wang with high quality- this duvet set will disappoint. Duvet is thin and transparent. Feels cheap, and came snagged. Can easily see the tags on the pillows & down comforter thru the duvet and this is NOT a white duvet, the color is more off-white/ecru. ☹️
