I have two main uses for this battery: 1) Emergency power 2) Backup power for my amateur radio station The battery I purchased allows you to connect to it from your phone via wireless technology to an onboard battery management system (BMS). I love being able to see real-time stats on the battery, especially the estimates on how much time the battery will continue to produce power at the current load. The size of the battery is very reasonable given how much power it stores. It's capacity is AWESOME. This type of battery is designed to be light weight with a great deal of power-bang for the buck. I feel it hits all of those design goals. Battery technology has come a long way since I was last buying a solar panel and a battery. I am VERY happy with this product. It's price, performance, and responsiveness of the seller have all exceeded my expectations. I purchased separately a charge controller (also by Redodo) and a pair of 100 watt solar panels. I am pleased with how the entire setup works. By my calculations, if I have both panels in operation I can fully recharge this battery in a day. I also added an inverter to the system. I can hook that up to the battery and run a/c items (anything you plug into a wall outlet). I also purchased separately a battery charger...one that plugs directly into the wall. I purchased the Redodo charger. You can use other chargers, but be sure to get a charger designed for this battery technology (lifepo4). Don't forget the cables! Solar panels and charge controllers have a standardized plug. My solar panel cabling all uses that plug (sorry the name escapes me). I used Anderson 50 amp power pole connectors on the other components (wall charger, inverter, and connections to my amateur radio gear). Thinking about cabling and connectors before hand will go a long way to easing your system integration/construction. I probably went overboard on the specs for this system, but so be it...I'm an engineer. This battery is the heart of my entire "solar generator" system and to date I am THRILLED with its performance.

I have not had this battery very long, but it is really well built and so far is working well. I bought the 20A charger from the same company, and really glad I did. I was looking at other chargers that claim to be LIFEPO4 "compatible", but they do not charge at a high enough voltage. The best part is the customer service. I reached out to the company a couple of times with questions to ensure I use this properly. They responded in less than 24 hours every time. Super happy so far.

Haven’t installed in boat yet. App says it functioning properly. Make sure to pay attention to the owners manual. You need a 14.6v charger. Battery came completely dead. Harbor Freight charger would not charge it, nor the noco charger. I recommend also buying the Redodo 14.6v 20a charger also when purchasing this battery. Save yourself some headache, and returning charges that don’t work! Charging as shown in picture on 14.6v 4a charger, is very slow.

12v100ah .The longest troll we got out of the fully charged battery was 6 miles. 6 miles on very calm water . 13ft Wasatch Lifetime canoe Load close to 350 lb included. Mini Kodo motor 12V run at medium speed. 2 passengers and gear . Ran out of power a 1/4 mile from shore on return. We always run on medium speed because high ran the battery out quickly on previous trips 🚤 Charges to full overnight Not too heavy of a battery.

Don't recommend any more. Bought latest set in series 17% difference from Bluetooth. Less than 7 weeks old. Support 3 canned emails. 4th email seemed genuine wrote back NO RESPONSE BACK.

I like the Bluetooth app, it gives you the basics but it would be nice to know the individual cell voltages. The app says balanced or balancing which works. I had to jump start the Bms but everything went as expected and I fully charged the battery to 14.4 and proceeded with the load test. As you can see in the attachment I hit the 100Ah mark just when the battery was starting it's steep voltage decline, as it should be. I'm going to replace my DYI Lifep04 battery I did years ago on my small solar system. with this one. So far, a great battery and I would buy from them again. Also I received the order a week early and got a confirmation e-mail from the seller.
