I own a pool cleaning company that utilizes portable vacuums to speed up the cleaning process for my technicians. For years we had used Group 37 Deep Cycle flooded Lead Acid batteries but found the our technicians would run them completely dead every day and shorten the life of the batteries dramatically causing us to replace the batteries every 3-4 months. THESE GUYS ARE HARD ON STUFF. Usually these batteries would be warrantied but it was a hassle. We also tried AGM batteries thinking they might be better but we had the same results. It just cost more money. Several years ago I started playing with Lifepo4 batteries on my travel trailer and eventually I built an off grid system to power our shop using Lifepo4 batteries, solar, and a few inverters. I decided to try one of my old Travel Trailer batteries in the portable vacuums our technicians use and IT CHANGED EVERYTHING. Not only does it lighten the load the tech brings into the back yard but they LAST ALL DAY. The original battery, which is still in service today, was a weize branded battery which wasn't available when I decided to start switching the cleaners over to Lifepo4 (I think they are now again) as the lead acids failed and I found Redodo. Weird name, fancy colors, and a great price. I gave them a shot and I am glad I did. We now have all of our cleaners running Redodo, and knock on wood they have performed flawlessly. My technicians love them because they can work more efficiently, and every guy that has had his "cart" changed out to the redodo immediately comments on how much lighter and easier it is to move into and out of our clients back yard. Are these batteries more expensive than conventional batteries? Yes. But they have so far more than paid for themselves in productivity increases (not having to swap batteries half way through the day). Due to the discharge voltage curve my techs have also commented that the batteries never slow down like lead acid. As long as they last more than a few years I will keep purchasing them!

I run RV Solar Consulting (Solar business) so I deal with a lot of lithium batteries. I was consistently being asked about budget lithium batteries like this and so I decided to try a set of these for myself and put them to the test. We started with 3 12v/100ah Redodo's (previously Zooms) and put them in a truck camper with 1500w of solar. We regularly run high draw loads in excess of 2000w continuous and these batteries don't miss a beat. We regularly run the hot water heater on electric (1500w+), microwave, toaster, air fryer (2150w), and even the A/C a few times for short periods. I am very pleased with how well they work, how well they hold their voltage at high discharge rates, their size/shape, etc. We later added a 4th battery (now rebranded Redodo) and have 400ah of storage with 1500w of solar and it's an amazing system in our truck camper. The batteries perform flawlessly and have been very pleased with them. I am not looking forward to using their newest 24v/200ah batteries in another truck camper and I can't wait to test them out and see how they perform. That will be 10kwh+ of lithium storage in a truck camper.

The other reviews cover the pro's and positive experiences with this battery. I won't rehash. I have the 100AH. Great battery. While researching charge controllers to find a LiFePO4 compatible unit, I inquired about the compatibility of the Renogy 40amp Rover MPPT charge controller both on the Renogys' product page and at the Renogy website, after I created an account (forced). Renogy has never got back to me, to this day. I did find an answer on the Renogy product page here on amz there are USER settings for the charge controller and that they could be set to my LiFePO4. So, I then looked at the Renogy manual for that unit and it indicated the same. So, I purchased a Renogy 40amp Rover MPPT charge controller for the sole purpose of charging this battery from ~400watts (so far) of mono solar panels. Guess what, the Renogy charge controller CANNOT BE CONFIGURED to a LiFePO4 requirements! So, I contacted REDODO with a couple screen shots of the Renogy app with the settings that are available. Lillian and Jack at REDODO were the people replying promptly! The verdict was that the Renogy charge controller CANNOT BE CONFIGURED to a LiFePO4 requirements! They agreed on the best setting for that controller and helped me CONSIDERABLY! All said and done, I should have purchased a Victron MTTP controller. PERIOD. (And I am) Word of advice, no matter what kind of battery you have, DO NOT use a PWM charge controller, use an MPPT controller! MPPT's takes full advantage of solar and PWM's do not. WELL worth the extra bucks. My batteries are receiving a charge from 7:30 am to 8pm. The customer service at REDODO was great, patient and guided me to a solution. Renogy has still not replied to me or offered ANY support for my charge controller what-so-ever. I was so impressed with the REDODO 100AH battery, and the support, that I purchased another one! I am now running 24/7: my ISP's router, wifi, two desktops, my 55gal fish tank and a 5' tall freezer. For about 8 hours a day: my 4 monitors, a 55" amazon fire TV, a surround amp for said TV, intermittent use battery chargers for my lawn equipment, phone charge (from inverter USB) , laptop chargers, a fan and a soundbar. I have yet to bring the batteries down to under 80%! The amount of energy I am getting from the sun is impressive and these batteries are the perfect fuel tanks! If I had 300AH worth of batteries I could run a 5000 BTU ac unit! (solely) 1000AH would be perfect for me but, just not in the budget as I would need more panels too. Would go grid tie if that was the case anyhow. Great product + great support = A happy returning customer.
