Our 5 month old pup is teething, but is so picky about what she chews. We didn't want to risk harm with the traditional hard bones, but she was not interested in softer bones, frozen veggies, or other various puppy safe chew toys we purchased her. I did quite a bit of research and settled on bully sticks with a safety holder. She is in love!!! It's her favorite chew now. It's not too hard, so her teeth won't get hurt, and it's not too soft, so it lasts well. I'd say it keeps her busy easily for an hour at a time and she'll get maybe 70% of the way through it. She clearly enjoys the taste and it's helping her teethe. I picked this brand because there weren't any added weird things, it's just straight-up bull pizzle. Healthy enough for her to enjoy and for me to not worry. Highly recommend! 10/20/25: Update to add that now that she's older, she gets through them MUCH quicker. It's more like a 10-20 minute activity now depending on how invested she is. I still love and would recommend them for any pup, but I just wanted to be transparent about how long they last. ... show more

I’ve been hesitant to get bully sticks bc I’ve just been worried about the digestion of them but these have been such a hit with both dogs. One of them ate the stick when it was bigger than I’d prefer he swallow it and he was totally fine. The puppy is obsessed and I do think these help her with the anxious energy she gets and redirects her to chew on these instead. They last her about 2ish hours. I have not had any issues with a mess or stains on anything. One thing I will say these do smell, like urine. I was worried the puppy peed to figure out the smell was coming from her gnawing on one of these. ... show more

I have tried many bully sticks and I think I and my pooch love these the best. Jackson is a small terrier mix who is about 10 lbs. He loves chewing on toys and sticks but he LOVES chewing on these the most. His chewing power isn't that strong so he doesn't go through a stick very quickly. One stick normally lasts a very long time. I tend to throw it away before he can even finish one since it takes him that long. They don't have a synthetic smell to them and they are small enough but big enough to give to a dog of his size. I was a little worried at first because some people were saying they were too thin or really small pieces. But all the pieces I got were a good 6 inches and thicker than my thumb. I always leave a stick out for him when I know I am going to be out for quite a few hours. He doesn't mind me leaving as much when he has one of these. He will actually start whining and crying for one if he sees I am holding it in my hand. So obviously it is not only parent approved but also dog approved. ... show more

I don’t like giving low reviews but I would rather be honest. I thought that this was a brand that I had bought before and it may have been. My dog may have just been smaller at the time. However these are decent bully bones but way way too thin for my dog. She is done with her bones within 10 minutes and the others always keep her occupied for at least an hour. She still does like them and they are a fair price for people who have dogs that chew slower than mine does. They also stink! However no matter how much people say that bully bones are odorless are wrong. They may have less of an odor than other bully sticks in the past that I’ve never smelled before but.... WOW! They smell like any other bully bones that I have bought though. They have this fishy smell to them. It’s indescribable. Dogs love love love things that stink so don’t think that they won’t like them due to my review. Thank you so much for the fast shipping as well as a well packaged product. Gonna have to stick with my Pawstruck though. They are the only affordable bully bones that are a little higher that my dog won’t inhale though.😃 ... show more

These are our go to dog treats! Bodhi loves the taste and the hardness makes it that it takes him ages to get through one. I prefer these to other brands as they are smaller in diameter. He’s a 15 pound Maltipoo and I felt like the other sticks where too much stick if you know what I mean! He loves to play fetch with it which is a great playtime activity, once he’s done playing he will finally settle and have a lovely time chewing. I did start to notice though that he was throwing up the last 1” that he had eaten whole! Obviously this totally freaked me out and I don’t like the thought of his tiny stomach having to process such a big piece, and couldn’t obviously as he would throw it back up. So I found this amazing invention on amazon where you can put the treat into a blue contraption and screw it in so he won’t lift his head to eat the last piece and swallow it whole.
