I'm a gamer in my late 30s, I have a sitting office job, and leaving the house is a mental chore for me so I just don't move, I'm in my head all the time. I started feeling awful sitting around so much so when I saw this on sale and read the good reviews I took a chance and bought this treadmill. It's been a month of near-daily use and not to be dramatic but I think it's changed my life. I started walking briskly for 15 minutes at night before bed just to try it out, loved how convenient and quiet it was, the remote it comes with works great. I was 220 when I started, and it didn't make any particularly fussy noises at me, though it is a plastic machine so it's not whisper quiet but the working noise it has is pretty negligible if you're clacking away at a computer or watching videos on your phone. I wouldn't take a video call on it but not due to noise, just don't want people to watch me walking as they're trying to meet with me. Anyway after the first few nights of walking right before bed I slept like a baby, I'm a restless sleeper so this was amazing to me. And because I was sleeping so well I had more energy to walk longer. Then I was walking a mile a day, now it's two miles a day, and I barely even notice! My mind is so focused on my game, work or phone the time that passes while I walk flies by and I feel great. In one month I'm down 20 lbs!!! This machine is easy to store under my bed when I don't want to see it, but it's just been under my desk since I use it so often. It still runs great, every once in a while the belt will start sliding more to one side and if you experience this the solution is wear grippy socks while you walk and if you notice the belt is more to one side - hop off, let it keep running, and use your foot aided by the grippy sole of the sock to scoot the belt back in its proper place. Fixed! I know this machine won't last me forever but to me this is WELL WORTH the money, especially if you see it on sale. I have been wanting a walking pad to use at work but been nervous because my work is cubical settings. I wanted to make sure I got one that had a mute option and was not that loud when operating. When this delivered the only set up I had to do was put the battery in the remote and synch it to the walking pad. The walking pad has an extension cord to plug it in. Once you flip the on switch on the walking pad it will start talking and that is when you will press mute on the remote so it no longer makes sound during use. I asked my coworkers who have cubicals by me if the motor sound bothers them especially when on conference calls and they say they can not hear it at all nor my walking. i highly recommend this treadmill. you can easily just lean it against the wall when not using if in a cubical setting and it does not take up too much space. ... show more

Like many of you, working from home is conducive to sitting all day. I wanted to get my steps in and this fits the bill. I personally am not a laptop while I work person but this small footprint, allows me to walk a few times a day very easily. It comes right out the box so there’s not much as far as setup goes, it’s mainly the remote and getting used to how the remote works which is not as logical as one might think. I think the calories are way off but I’m not tracking for that so it doesn’t matter to me. I work long hours from home and find myself spending way too much time on my butt. I am SO thrilled with this. It arrived quickly, was easy to set up, and is so easy to maneuver from next to my desk where it lives to under my desk when I'm ready to use it. The cord is a good length (not so long it gets tangled but not so short I have to put it in a weird place to plug it in). Does it make noise? Yes. Is it loud? Not at all. I've only had this treadmill for a short amount of time, so I can't speak to longevity, but so far I love it. It works well, smooth, relatively quiet, and has a bluetooth speaker, which I like for listening to books or music while walking. I will say, if you don't have the best balance, I would make sure you either have a table to keep you steady, or get a walking pad with a handle. This is also easy to move around. I used to get my exercise via my daily commute: running to and from the train to get to work! Now that I work from home, I don't get nearly as much steps in any more. This under the desk treadmill has been a godsend! I have a standing desk, so when it's at full height, I can place this in front and walk while I'm on a call or in staff meetings. I’ve been walking 3 miles a day on this for over a month. I love the high quality, very sturdy, I get a good 3mph power walk on it. It’s kinda loud, I had to get my AirPods out because I couldn’t hear my TV. It’s also very heavy, like 50+ pounds. I do love that it’s not a giant machine though. The item has arrived fast, as described and pictured, no damage. I am a small short person, so it works for me well. Not sure how it would do for larger/taller people. Cons: I am annoyed by the welcoming message that plays every time you turn it on, and there is no way to get rid of it! The sound for changing settings is a bit loud for me. I wish the manufacturer would switch it around and make it silent with an option to turn on the sound. At least, there is an option to silence it after turning it on.
