I'm 76 and with some difficulty threading the of the rubber washer, it was easy to assemble. I did not use the second one, didn't seem necessary. The speed on this one is much faster than my previous 3 treadmills. I usually walked on the 4 setting, this on was way to fast set on 4.

Light and very easy to manuver. Folds up. Easy to assemble. The cup holders are too small to hold any kind of water bottle, so they are kinda pointless, but I ordered a cup holder that fits on a stroller and it works perfectly. Since it's a smaller treadmill, I have to walk back away from the screen otherwise my feet hit the front part. It took some getting use to but it's fine. It'll work for what I need it to.     • A useful and inexpensive treadmill, but with a few issues

Edited: I got this folding treadmill a month ago, and I've used it every day. The price was fair and a good deal. Amazon Prime sent it within days and it was delivered intact. My wife and I removed it from the box, assembled it within 20 minutes or so, lubricated it with my own silicone spray and began using it right away. The good news is that it works. It turned on fine, has 12 pre-programmed settings plus a manual setting for speed. It gave me distance, speed in MPH, time expended, calories burned and my heart rate. It was quiet and got the job done. There are, however, a few key issues to be aware of. Note that the manufacturer/distributor is very responsive to your complaints. In every case, they got back to me the next day with a proposed solution. First, the heart rate sensors are on the two handrail arms. If you choose to hold on as you walk or run and grip the handrails, the display changes to only distance traveled and heart rate. The speed, time expended and calorie display disappears. Let go of the handles, and they reappear. Since I am using the treadmill for weight loss and don't care about my heart rate, I could not hold the armrests for long. It became annoying quickly. The good news, however, is that the company was very responsive to my email messages to them. They told me how to disconnect the heart rate sensors by unscrewing some plates and internally unplugging the sensor wires. Alternatively, my wife gave me some old thick socks that I was able to slip onto the handrails and over the heart rate sensors. Worked like a charm to break the contact between my hand and the sensors. The socks also helped with complaint # 2. The handles are made of hard plastic and as I used them, my hands sweat. I guess this would happen with any treadmill, but the socks fixed that also. Complaint 3 began by realizing that neither my wife nor I ... liked the walk on the treadmill. As we used it, our legs got tired quickly. It got so annoying that we concluded we would have to return the unit. Then ... we discovered that the platform was not level. The back of the treadmill was 2 inches lower than the front by design, causing it to be on an uphill slant when you walked. For a fit jogger, that might be good but for two senior citizens in their 70's, it got tiring fast. Fortunately, we realized a fix by simply slipping two short pieces of 2x4 boards under the back feet of the treadmill. That leveled it out. The walk became easier. A 4th issue involved folding. The mechanism to fold up the treadmill was hard to maneuver for a 75 yr old man. My wife could not even do so. Perhaps the spring holding it in place was too strong, but ... Consequently, we've just left it alone. Its not in our way when unfolded, so ... 5th, we found the two handrails are lower to the ground than our big $2,000 treadmill in our basement. You can hold onto them but they don't support some of our weight when we hold them like our bigger one, so walking on this unit is again, tougher to do. The last issue was lubrication. All treadmills need silicone applied between the treadmill belt and the platform you stand on several times/month. The company provided a small dropper bottle of liquid silicone to use, but I cannot see how anyone could lift the belt high enough to get enough of it between belt and platform. I used my own aerosol can of silicone spray under pressure to get the lubricant where it needs to go. I'd strongly recommend you buy such a spray. They are cheap at any hardware store. In conclusion, I don't know if other treadmills have the same, less or more design issues than this one. I will continue to use it daily, and my add-hoc fixes have fixed some of the problems, and the company was concerned to help me fix the issues, but ... ... show more

Absolutely worse product I have ever purchased. After less than 4 months of moderate use it began to smell like burning wires when in use for a few minutes and the motor became hot to the touch. The treadmill was supposed to come with a 12 month warranty. I contacted the company, Redliro, and got the run around until they finally offered me a 70% refund for some completely illogical reason. All the while apologizing profusely about the shoddy product they had sent me ADMITTING it was UNSAFE for use! I agreed to an 80% refund just to get it over with and they subsequently credited me a 68% refund on my credit card! So essentially I spent over $100 for a few months of use of a dangerous product that was supposed to be under warranty. THE WORSE! Don't do it, buy anything else, seriously! ... show more
