This bike was made for short people in mind lol. I'm 4'10" and very happy I can reach the pedals. It was an easy assembly, but it did take me less than 2 hours. Yeah I know, kinda slow. It does help to have some experience on how to put it together outside of the instructions. I had some from a previous bike project. After 20 minutes of using this bike, my tailbone and hips were in pain. The seat is horrible. I'll use a pillow next time and see how it feels then. Outside of that I have no complaints. I am 69 years old. I bought this to use to warmup before I do other exercises for lower back issues. I'm 6'0" and weigh 185 lbs. The bike is not long enough to stretch my legs fully. I have a size 12 shoe, so the stirrups do not work. The pedal resistance is just fine for my use. The bike is very quiet and sturdy. I time my use, so the computer is useless to me. The assembly instructions were somewhat hard to follow. Pay close attention to the wires and tensioning cable when you install the front handle. The tensioning cable is tricky to assemble, but if you get it right it works fine. I needed to carefully go through all the packaging to find all the screws. The various packages of screws were not all in one bag. But I did eventually find them all. It's not a sophisticated piece of equipment, but for an old guy like me it works just fine. ... show more

Fought for some time with the cable set up. Could not feel any difference in the pedal regardless of the tension setting. Removed the plastic side cover and found the cable completely disconnected from the brake. Spent the next hour adjusting and fine tuning the brake. Finally got it nailed by backing both adjustment points all the way out. I'm an experienced mechanic and had little trouble but someone who can't figure these things out would be lost. Also found one of the handle screws, a sheet metal screw that holds the plastic side cover and the retainer for the seat adjustment bushing as I was disposing of the box. Downgrade for lack of assembly ease and overall assembly quality. Despite clever packaging and design, you need some sort of retainer on the lower cable end, maybe just a piece of tape would do. Otherwise, better have an able bodied mechanic available to you. ... show more

I did my research first to save money and avoid a lemon purchase. I just needed a exercise bike that could help ease my osteoarthritis in my knees and provide some aerobic benefits. Since COVID things have changed. It isn't safe to take long walks or go to public places with all the random shootings and assaults. We older folks are stuck indoors so to keep our bodies healthy exercise is vital. This recumbent bike had the best reviews and the price was crazy low. I should have had Amazon assemble it but hired a professional handyman who took almost 1.5 hours but did an awesome job. I am taking baby steps every day but hopefully will be on it 30 minutes every day. So solid well put together and quiet and could probably carry someone up to 400lbs. easy. Doesn't take up that much space. Needed an extra seat pad for better comfort. Like a pillow or pad. Not going to find a better bike at Amazon for a better price. Got the 2 year warranty just in case.
