After reading other reviews, I ordered this stationary bike for rehab on my knee. It was well packed and all the parts arrived without damage. My husband put it together in about an hour and a half. He said the instructions were easy to follow and straightforward. The bike itself is easy to move with the wheels on the front bar. The seat is fairly easy to adjust. It doesn't have pre-measured slots, so it can be moved to just the right spot. It is very quiet and the pedals run very smooth. The function screen is easy to read and move around the different functions. The instructions are on a piece of paper, not an actual manual, so be careful when you throw out the packing materials. There is a small shelf at the bottom of the screen that you can set your phone or device. My Kindle fit perfectly. The knob that adjusts the tension is easy to turn. I have arthritis, so that's important. The pulse function is easy to read. The pulse sensor is on the handle bars, so when you hold them, your pulse can be read. I'm never sure how accurate these are, but it seemed fairly close to what is should be. An added bonus is the water bottle holder. I didn't see that in the product description when I placed my order. I purchased this recumbent bike because I can't stand a normal stationary bike. This is much more comfortable and easy on the back. The only con are the peddle straps. They don't adjust very easily, so I just took them off. They have pegs and the straps are supposed to fit over the little pegs, but the straps are very stiff rubber and with my arthritic hands, I can't get them to stretch over the peg. I'm not sure this could be changed, but it seems to work just fine without them. I think they would be fine for stronger hands and I know over time the material will soften or stretch some, so it would go on easier. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!

I received my W239 on the evening of July 1 by FedEx and had it assembled that evening. It arrived undamaged and contained all the necessary parts. My first impression was this is not a flimsy bike. FedEx indicated a 63lb shipping weight and it is very well constructed and stable. I discovered that it is much easier unboxing by cutting the side of the box instead of lifting the parts through the top. I had no issues with assembly by following the included owners manual and there is also an email address for customer support should you need additional help. I contacted customer support to request the free soft cushion and Laurel responded the next day. I am a 69 year old male, 6'1" 180lbs and this bike is a perfect fit and comfortable for me with the seat in the most rear position. The display screen is clear and very easy for me to read even without my glasses. The bike is very solid and stable but with the roller wheels it is easy to move around. For the price compared to the other bikes on Amazon I am very pleased with this bike and the customer service. Definitely deserves a 5 star review!

I am a 68-year-old female, and I recently had to replace my stationary bike, which I’ve had for over 10 years. I love this new bike even more than my old one. I was able to assemble it in one morning, thanks to the excellent directions. It’s a little smaller and lighter than my previous bike, making it very comfortable to use. It makes absolutely no noise, and I got a great workout the first time I used it. I would definitely recommend this bike to others.

We got this bike last week - took us a bit more than the average time of putting it together, but is worth every minute. It is easy to get on and off, and we love the adjustable seat and back. Both my husband and I use it and we are in our 80s. It is much quieter than the old bike I had, that he could not get up on. It fits nicely in our living room and is unobtrusive. It came with good instructions, and many of the pieces were pre-assembled.

If you're not looking for fancy with all the bells and whistles, this bike is great, I recommend. Price is right, it's sturdy, it's quiet, and it gets the job done. I have a meniscus injury and this is exactly what I needed. My cell phone fits in the little tray in front of the monitor, so I can watch a video or something while I exercise. Only complaint is, the seat is not comfortable. In the box, there is a flyer that says if you find the seat too hard, you can email for a free cushion. Well, I did that, and was told they were no longer available. Sooo, just know you will probably need to order a cushion separately. Another note, because it was a concern I had...I am not a small woman. I have wide hips, but was pleased to see that not only the cute little thin girl in the video fits in the seat between the two handle bars, but I do too (yay). Regarding ease of assembly, I did this myself with no issues, with the tools provided, within an hour. The instructions are easy to understand and helpful if you actually read them and not just follow pictures. If you need to watch your spending but need a recumbent bike, this will work for you.

I bought this bike to help with my recovery from recent hip replacement and knee replacement surgery. Very easy to assemble, the directions are clear and easy to follow. The bike is sturdy and stable, the seat is comfortable and easy to adjust. The front of the bike has wheels making it easy to move around, so I can wheel it outside and enjoy sunshine and fresh air. I like that this bike has tension control as it helps speed my recovery. I don't really use the display, instead I put my iPad in the holder and read while riding, This is a safer alternative for me than riding my regular bike outside while I recover. Well worth the money, if you have this in your cart, just buy it!
