This just arrived yesterday and was a week earlier than I expected. I started putting it together right away. It was quick and easy. The instruction manual was easy to follow and I had no extra parts at the end. I made two mistakes on the assembly though but quickly fixed them. It had to do with the seat. First was the locking handle on the right side of the seat. I first put it on 180 degrees out. It looked a little odd and I knew it was wrong. Next was putting the seat on the bar it slides on. I attached the bar before I put the seat on it and had to take it back off. That is what I get for thinking I know it all by just following the diagrams, and not reading the instructions thoroughly. Now for my first impressions. The bike looks very well made and is quiet as well as stable on the floor while pedaling. I am 6'2" tall and still had room to adjust the seat back more if needed. At first I thought the seat looked a little hard and my bottom would get sore, but surprisingly it did not. Besides, the bike came with a free offer for a seat cushion as a gift so I sent for it. I don't know if I will use it or not but, it is better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. The cushion of the seat has a small base that it is attached to with four bolts. I do not know if it is wood or partical board inside but when shifted my weight to one side I heard a small crack. The base plate the cushion attaches to should really be bigger. I see this maybe breaking if I am not careful. I will just have to remember not to put to much weight on the sides. If you are 300lbs or more this may be an issue. I am thinking of getting a piece of aluminum sheet metal slightly smaller then the cushion for more support. I may have to get longer bolts as well. Should not cost too much and would definitely fix the issue. I plan on having and using this bike for many years and I want it to last. It has a water bottle holder under the seat which I doubt I will use. Some people like me may find it hard to reach unless they stop pedaling. I saw some older models on YouTube that had the bottle holder where the tension controller is now. The tension controller was on the tube below the computer panel. Makes more sense to have the tension controller were it is for easy reaching. It would have made more sense to put the water bottle holder where the tension controller used to be on the tube below the computer panel. The instructions on how to operate the computer panel are in the back of the assembly manual. The computer panel has a holder for your cell phone or tablet. The bike "DOES NOT" come with batteries for the computer panel. You will need two "AAA" batteries. This bike has a back support that is ment to be used. I adjusted the back support so the top of it was just below my shoulder blades and it was very comfortable. The tension knob has 16 levels which increase the pedal resistance. Level one being the least. Level 16 has a great amount of resistance which I doubt I will use but you never know. This bike is smaller then I thought it would be so it is definitely compact. I gave this 5 stars because I really did not see anything wrong with the bike that could not be fixed. And the company seems to listen to it's customers. Why else would they move the tension knob and the water bottle. I got the bike for several reasons. First is because it is dangerous to ride my regular bike in the winter because of ice. You never know when or where you will find it and sometimes it is unavoidable. Second is I have ridden stationary bikes and after an hour my bottom was really sore. Third was the price. It was not too expensive and did all the things I wanted it too. The pulse monitor was a plus. My goal is to use this bike for an hour to burn fat using interval training. That is were after a nice slow warm up, which should barely increase my heart rate. I increase my pedal rate into exercise range so my heart rate increases but not too much for several minutes. I then increase my pedaling rate again so my heart rate increases again to between 70% to 80% of my max heart rate. I do this also for several minutes and then slow down to my previous experience rate. I repeat this 5 or 6 times and at the end I do a nice slow cool down. The same speed as my warm up. You will know your doing it right if at first when you increase your pedal rate, it is a little hard at first. And when you decrease your pedal rate you will find it hard to slow down. Especially when you do your cool down. Following this routine does three things for your body. First, it burns fat. Two, it speeds up your bodies metabolism. And last, the cool down helps your body get rid of lactic acid buildup in your muscles that makes you sore. Some of you may not be able to do an hour and can only do about 15 minutes. THAT IS OK! Just do one minute intervals but keep your warm up and cool down at least 5 minutes. You can slowly increase the interval times over time, as it becomes easier for you. Some of you may be wondering what your maximum heart rate is. Here is how you figure it out. Take your age and subtract it from 220. That is your max heart rate. To figure out what your fat burning range is you take your max heart rate and multiply it by .7 and .8. That gives you your 70% to 80% heart rate for burning fat. 70% being your minimum and 80% being your maximum. Now if you have health concerns please talk to your doctor and explain to them what you want to do. And follow their advice! In closing. I just got this bike so I am not done evaluating it yet. I have only ridden it twice and am very satisfied and pleased so far with my purchase. I plan on updating this review in about a month or so, if I remember lol. Bought this for my Dad and he loved it so far. Instructions were simple, building it wasn’t too bad and it’s a nice and sturdy bike. I like how it’s lightweight and easy to move around from room to room, the fact that it is cordless and only uses batteries makes it that much better. Everything came oiled/greased and it runs smoothly and makes very little noise. I would say the only con is that the seat is a bit wobbly and lacks cushion so it does get a bit uncomfortable after long usage. ... show more

I am very happy with this purchase. It allows me to exercise on days that I can’t go to the gym. I’m a senior and this allows me to strengthen my legs which helps in preventing falls. The pricing is great and the bike is of much higher quality than what I expected for the price.
