Update: I’ve been using this Rec Teq smoker grill for about a month now and I have to say “I love this grill”. I have made pork butt, burgers, chicken and salmon and every one has turned out phenomenal. I really like the included temperature probes. I now cook to a certain temperature rather than what looks done. Did I mention that I love this grill? Ordered this Rec Tec from Amazon. I could have bought it from the Rec Tec store in Georgia but it was the same price there and I get 5% back on my Amazon Prime account. It arrived in 2 boxes but there were no assembly instructions. I had to go online to watch a YouTube video on how to assemble (great video by the way). Easy to assemble with just a phillips screwdriver. You can tell the quality when you start taking the part out of the boxes. The gauge of steel used is substantial. It just has the feel of a well made product. I did the initial burn in and the grill/smoker worked flawlessly. I think this is going to be a long love affair.

Easy to assemble, a little smaller than anticipated and the smoker doesn’t stay the correct temp without the thermometers being plugged in. Overall good for the price, I’d definitely go with the size up next time.

This thing is awesome! Bought this one over other big box brands as there were a lot of complaints about temp swings during cooks (up to 25°). Can’t speak to those models, but THIS guy is as consistent as can be! I’ve performed 3 cooks in 3 days so far, 2 in the 1-2 hours range at 350 and a 6 hour brisket at 250. The largest temperature variation I noticed was 3°. Very impressive. Assembly was simple and nothing feels flimsy at all. The only 2 gripes I have are the hardware container (see pic) was opened inside the box and spilled out on the patio when I pulled it out. I’m not against repackaging at all, as the grill was in mint condition, but the QC team needs to make sure everything is sealed. Lost a couple washers in the spill but luckily had plenty lying around to make it work. Also, the instructions are in the form of a QR code… I just prefer a booklet over using my phone. Pros: - Consistent and steady temperature control - Looks cool with bull horn handles - Solid construction - High quality casters for easy moving around Cons: - QR code instructions. A booklet would be much easier to follow for assembly and operation instructions. - Hardware container was open and spilled upon taking out.

I know its a early review but most issues were arriving issues. They must have repackage these. Packed in molded foam and shipped by FedEx. Arrive in perfect condition not even a ding. Assembly was very easy. Grill is mostly stainless and heavy steel too! Had a blizzard and getting another. So will definitely update review. Electronics look very solid too! Beautiful grill i can't wait to try er. Pricey but so far worth it!! Chat about it soon! Now ive cooked my first smoke on the patio 410! Not sure if things were fixed etc. Came packed in foam without a scratch. Cooked thys my first cook. Went out 5 times and no temp veryation at all. Stayed at 225. Provided perfect amount of smoke too. Rub with olive oil. Season half with special shit and half with meat church honey hog. Both were absolutely delicious. One bite of each and i had to dry off below lol. Well well worth the money so far.stainless steel build like a tank. Recommend adding to cart and buy now! JUST READ THE WHOLE MANUAL FIRST! RESIST TO OPEN IT UP CONTINUOUSLY!! No i don't work fer this company. Happy smokein, grillin!!!
