I spoiled myself and upgraded from a small Traeger. Recteq came strongly recommended from a good friend who smokes regularly. This smoker was intended to replace both my small smoker and regular grill. To that, it has succeeded. The unit is extremely versatile and well appointed. It is extremely well built with an excellent online video tutorial. The size of both chambers meets the weekend warrior requirement, and I can cook easily a large regiment of food. I bought the optional cold smoke box which makes a great warmer as well. I could not be happier with this overall purchase. It's a game changer in doing multiple types of cooks. I am surprised others have not duplicated this setup. If you buy it when it's $300 off it's a great value for the money.

I had a cast iron smoker grill that I was so tired of rusting out. It took a while to assemble this grill but was very straight forward. It's a big grill, you need help to set it upright. Takes about 1 hour to assemble. The parts are well laid out. The instructions are good. You have to get the instructions from online. I had a little trouble with the large side but that was because the fan was blocked. The unit will not work with the fans blocked. It holds temperature very accurately with the lid closed. It really allows you to cook with wood and none of the hassles. I never had a pellet grill before; this is well worth the cost. See how I am in ten years. I love this thing!

I have been through all others, Trager, Green mountain, pit boss, and a knockoff Cabela's. this thing is a beast, 70lb pellet hopper!?! PID temp control is unbelievable, wind , rain you set it to 250° and its at 250° no matter what. heavy SS construction, cast-iron flame deflector its built to work. you know your getting something special when they have to use a pallet jack to get it off the truck! i will never buy another brand again

Packaged extremely well, easy to assemble, and is built better than any grill I've owned. And this is my 4th pellet grill. Lights fast, comes up to temp. quick and holds temperature within a few degrees of set point. Amazing grill.

This grill is amazing. I’ve owned a Weber genesis gas grill that last thirteen years and a Traeger pro 780 for three years before my wife sold the Traeger on marketplace and I purchased and assembled this beast of a grill/smoker. Customer service is amazing. Live agents in Georgia that are super helpful, will email you back within a business day and call back promptly if you leave a voicemail. Would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to up their grilling and smoking experience.

Never had the chance to use my Reqtec Duelfire 1200 because when I received and unboxed it, it had major damage. I made contact with Reqtec customer service and received a quick response on what to do in order to return the 200lbs duelfire. First I sent photos of the damages by email, then I had to repackage this heavy grill and place it on the pallet it was delivered on and secure it to the pallet, after preparing for pickup I had to contact customer service again for a pick up date and time. I never received a pick up date or time but I was lucky enough to have the grill ready and accessible for pickup I had up. After the damaged grill was picked up I had to wait 3 weeks for my refund to post to my account and being that I purchased the grill on sale for 1500 by the time I did the return and received my refund the grill was back at full price 1800. Very disappointing and no apology or compensation of any kind for the inconvenience.

I love this thing! I had a smaller cheaper bare bones pellet smoker, and I learned on that (still have it as a backup/2nd unit), but I absolutely am spoiled with this dual-fire smoker. The bin size for the pellets is massive, and the "burner" is in the center of the chamber (rather than to the side like the cheaper ones) - make for more even heating (I scoped it out with some temp gauges to make sure). The phone app interface for controlling it and seeing the temp + probe temps in real time as well as history is super fantastic. I can save them and go back and see how whatever smoked meat performed. No more trying to guess. Lots of space! And the 2nd direct heat chamber is great. I specifically bought it for the 2nd separate direct heat smoker. It's pretty convenient. I don't really use my gas grilled that much anymore. The main chamber is big and fits plenty of stuff, and the height on the 2nd rack (if you use it) is plenty space height wise. And the looks: Also one of things that persuaded me to go with this smoker. It's unique. I love the bullhorn handles hahah. The stainless-steel look is nice at first, but heat is going to tarnish it. Still, it looks nice after about 6 smoked usage so far (14 hours one time to do a pulled-ham). I bought the best bundle pack they had with it.
