  • Best way to heal a new tattoo!
Hands down, the best way to wet heal tour new tattoo. It’s smooth, light weight and moves easily with your skin. I’ve tried other products (like saniderm that always pulled ink causing me to need a touch up even though I’m experienced and know how to apply and remove). It doesn’t feel still or uncomfortable, it feels like a second skin. Doesn’t leave annoying lines around it from pulling skin. It’s easy to apply and stays on. I leak a lot of plasma and there has been times where it was so full it leaked but that is to be expected, I just press it all out and seal the edge that lifted up with a small piece. If it doesn’t leak and I see it’s filled too much, I’ll use a sterile needle and pull a part up and poke it, drain some of it out, wipe with a clean paper towel and get a small piece to patch it back up. The knee is just hard to deal with period so you’re going to get creases and bubbles but it will be fine, if they are too big and you can’t push them out you can poke it, smooth it out and use a piece to patch it back up. I keep my tattoo covered for at least three days, four tops. Everyone heals differently and some people prefer to keep it on longer or change it out. It’s up to you. But for me, by three days when it comes off it’s ready to peel. I love healing this way because there are no worries of scabs and dealing with them. It’s pricey but it is worth it! I’ve included some photos of recent tattoos with it on and showed what it looks like on the knee (the Bee tattoo). ... show more

  • Great product
Works very well. I was using it wrong? according to the advice from the tattoo artist but correctly, I think, according to the instructions by replacing it everyday. The tattoo artist told me to leave it on for 5-6 days and then remove and I shouldn't have to apply again. I did as he suggested but when I went to remove it was stuck on pretty good so be prepared for that. Worked great though and had almost no color loss after removing. Also, I think the artist said not to get water directly on it or not at all while wearing it. ... show more

  • Great for healing new tattoos! Easy to use.
I’m an avid tattoo collector. I LOVE this product to use during the healing phase of a new tattoo as well as to prevent secondary damage to new tattoos from rubbing, sticking, scratching. It really is a second skin and so easy to apply. It sticks amazingly well, doesn’t bunch up, and easy to remove when the time is right. ... show more

  • Excellent product, reasonable price.
Excellent product. I've had very few allergic reactions to it. Such an improvement over the bandages tattooists had to come up with previously. The products we had to to cobble together are laughable now!

  • ❤️❤️❤️ NEVER GO WITHOUT THIS ❤️❤️❤️ NO PAIN ONCE APPLIED‼️
The media could not be loaded. I will never do another tattoo without using this on myself. I did a tattoo as I do on myself and I put this on right away after doing the tattoo and there was absolutely no pain once I put it on. 100% of the pain was gone 😮😮😮 Directions are clear. Put your one a freshly done tattoo that is 1 minute old. Keep the first one on there for 24 hours. Then take it off and it will be very gooey sticky. Then you put one on for an additional 4 days and take out off. This comes with directions on the outside of the box. I did notice on the fifth day that my leg started to itch through the Derm Shield. So when I took it off the final time, it was not gooey or sticky. It only does that when you first apply it to a fresh tattoo. The second time it sticks, but don’t worry I’m not gonna ruin your tattoo. Not even gonna ruin at the first time that you take it off when you see a tad bit of ink on the DERM SHIELD BANDAGE film. So don’t worry because your not pulling out the ink. This is the first time that I’ve used it. It’s very easy to use. I did put it on wrong the first time because I put it going horizontal. You need to make sure that when you put it on that it’s going horizontal the long way up and down, or else it doesn’t cover the whole tack to correctly when you try to put it on and peel off the paper. You’ll see why if you do it once, why you need to do it going up and down. So pay attention when you put it on. It also needs a 2 inch gap around the edges. So make sure that you have enough to carry the edges of the tattoo. It’s definitely waterproof. I went to the beach or not. So this is awesome to have. ❤️❤️❤️ I WILL NEVER EVER USE OINTMENTS EVERY AGAIN‼️ THIS ODD FOR SURE A GAME CHANGER IN TATTOOING 👍👍👍👍 ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🩵🩵🩵🩵 PS: if you put it on, and you see bubbles in the paper, I didn’t worry about it and I just left it on for the first time for 24 hours. You will get better at applying this when you put it on a 2nd time. Practice makes perfect 🤩 😍 👍 I did notice when I took it off after five days that it did leave a little film on the sides of the tattoo. I’m sure if you use some baby oil around the edges it would take off that sticky edge ... show more
