based only on online reviews, i took a chance and bought this machine without trying it out. it was everything i could have hoped for and more. the machine itself is sturdy, solid, heavy. runs super-quiet with minimal vibration. and after several sessions, the battery hasn't run out on me once. after a five hour session, it still seemed to have enough juice to run for another hour. the inclusion of the rca adapter is a nice touch in case you're afraid of the battery completely giving out on you. (note: when i bought this, there wasn't a 2-battery combo available) the only thing that could be considered a "con" would be that it's a bit thicker than my previous machines so i had to buy bigger protective sleeves for it (i had plenty of 2" wide ones but had to get some 2.4" ones). i personally don't see this as a con, tho, as it actually saves me from having to wrap as much grip tape on the machine. the stroke adjustment is a bit hard to turn but, once again, this is actually a plus as you do NOT want that changing on you mid-session or when you're adjusting your throw. if it was intentional, it's a clever design. now.. the question on everyone's mind.. does it hit hard enough? ABSOLUTELY! i haven't even used it past the 3.9mm stroke and it's hitting like a jackhammer! now, to be fair, i've not tried to use it with anything bigger than a 120913rm but, as you can see from the photos, it has MORE than plenty of punch to pack the ink in. i have no complaints about this machine thus far. it has stood up to long sessions and heavy use. if i HAD to find a complaint, it would be the lack of a second battery. but given the fact that that's not a quality defect of the machine, it keeps its full five stars! HIGHLY recommended!

I’ve been tattooing for 8 years, and have lost any loyalty I have to bigger brands like Cheyenne and FK Irons. Those were machines that I used at the beginning of my career, and they broke down quickly. This little “disposable” Amazon machine is by far the most convenient machine I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. Paired with reliable cartridges (Kwadron or Cheyenne for liners, or a good ol’ Hextat for mags), you have a versatile, powerful, and long-lasting machine. My coworker dropped hers once and broke the internals, so they may not be incredibly durable, but at this price point, it isn’t unreasonable to have a backup. Fortunately for me, her loss was my gain as I now have 4 batteries that I can cycle between, potentially increasing the longevity of this machine for quite some time. Having an adjustable stroke length was the selling point for me. At 4.2, I can push large mags or bold liners without issue. I never go below 2.7mm stroke, but that works great for fine-line work or soft black and grey. Phenomenal machine at a reasonable price. You can’t beat it as long as you’re willing to learn how to use it.

This machine is amazing! I went from my Poseidon machine to this once that one stopped working so I decided to upgrade to a machine that could match the quality of my work better. The packaging is so nice, has foam and felt and little ribbons to pull up to get your battery and machine out of the box without the hassle. It runs so smooth, the batteries last quite a long time. The adjustments for the needle hang and stroke are a little weird to get used to but once you do, it’s easy. Would highly recommend this machine to anyone that is serious about becoming a tattoo artist. Not every time does the higher cost items work the best, but in this case, definitely worth the investment

I LOVE that this machine does so much. Easy to set the depth, easy to set the stroke and double batteries is awesome to have for a long session. I am so glad I went with this one. It is quiet, battery life is great, weight is great for me. I also love having the adapter for other batteries and a petal - although I don't use that often, it is great to have. No issues - so far it is producing great results.

Paid almost 300 used it twice and its out of sync like it unbalanced and just shakes the skin uncontrollably Was contacted by seller who reached out and offered to send me another machine. Very good quality of service and communication. Will update after use of new machine when I can. Update: they sent me a new machine with a battery within the week. Works great so far so no complaints. Great support guys thank you
