This is such a great beginner machine! I love having an adjustable stroke. I started out on a super cheap "kiss of dragon" machine and in comparison, the fold pro is so quiet and has very low vibration. It stays cool even when on for a long period of time. Before I was having trouble getting consistent, saturated lines with the larger needle groupings. Having the ability to turn it up to 4.2 for those larger liners, and down for sharing and packing, is really nice. I wish I would have just started with this kit. Two batteries is highly recommended. I'm grateful for it very often.

Skip the kit and just get the 2 batteries. Unlike the Archer, this battery doesn't last 15hrs lol. So the back up is needed. But the kit was crap. Just a few things you don't need. Especially the box of needles! They gave me #04 1RLs....when would anyone ever need that small of a needle!?! I tried one and pulled a line and thought the needle was gonna snap! But the machine is great. Only prob I have with it is for some reason I can't keep it wrapped. I bag it and tape it and the bag constantly slips forward. I've tried taping harder and further back and it still moves. But that's a small complaint compared to how awesome the machine is. You can't beat being able to change your stroke like that. If Bishop followed suit I'd switch but until then I'm sticking with this guy I think. Better than the Peak Solice that's double the price. Def a good buy

This machine is amazing! I went from my Poseidon machine to this once that one stopped working so I decided to upgrade to a machine that could match the quality of my work better. The packaging is so nice, has foam and felt and little ribbons to pull up to get your battery and machine out of the box without the hassle. It runs so smooth, the batteries last quite a long time. The adjustments for the needle hang and stroke are a little weird to get used to but once you do, it’s easy. Would highly recommend this machine to anyone that is serious about becoming a tattoo artist. Not every time does the higher cost items work the best, but in this case, definitely worth the investment

Purchase November 7th 2024 as a backup, didn’t open or use until the beginning of January. It’s the beginning of March and the gun already broke!?! I’ve never dropped it, overcharged or misused it in anyway and for some reason it completely bogged out mid tattoo and locked up. I took the cartridge out, started it up and it still wasn’t working till I hit it on my palm a few times. Then when it kicked out, it was so weak and wasn’t adjusting when I was changing the speed. Waste of money.

This little beast is great for shading, color packing ,and lines (up to 9rl). It does have a harder time punching in those thicker liners or round shaders. It is a fatter style so takes less wraps to get it comfortable in my hand. And man is this thing quiet. With a good brand of needle like CNC or Rhein, it just purrs. I have noticed cartridges feel a little more snug when twisting, but I have not had any come loose or not go in. Changing depths is easy and has a nice spring bearimg click feel. For home use or learning this thing is perfect. As a day in day out grinder in a shop, I think it would be better to save youe money up and purchase another machine made for that.
