Pedal is small and feels cheap, so does the power supply, cords seem pretty cheaply made, machine looks and feels nice and solid and seems to push the needle just fine. The cartridges do not fit consistently. The 5RL doesn’t fit snug and pops out during use, tried two cartridges and same result, but the 3RL and 5RM fit snug and don’t budge. My old power supply, pedal and cords work with the machine so I’ll probably use that. Not sure if I trust the ink after seeing the quality of the other items, I guess it’ll work for practice. Overall it is ok for what it is, but you’re just buying the machine the other stuff seems like garbage and will fail. $50 machine not bad, but the quality of the cartridges seem questionable. Update: All five of the 5RL fit loose and pop out of the machine.
