If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I needed a new chair for my office setup. My old one was falling apart and causing my lower back to hurt after sitting for a few hours. I was looking for something that would hold up better and support my back properly. Likes: * The EPU leather feels thick and looks like it will last. Its a lot more substantial than the cheap PU leather on my old chair, which started cracking after about a year. * Assembly took me maybe 35 minutes. The instructions were good and the parts were clearly labeled. The allen wrenches were pretty nice. * The lumbar support is built into the backrest instead of being a pillow. It hits the right spot on my lower back and I can sit for several hours now without my back getting sore. * The foam cushions are very firm. They don't compress much even when I shift my weight around, which means they probably won't sag like softer foam does. * The seat base is wider than my old chair by at least a couple inches. I can sit cross-legged in this if I want to, which I do sometimes when I'm reading. * The recline goes back to 152 degrees. I tested it all the way back and it locks in place at different angles. I usually keep it around 110 degrees or so. * Build quality is excellent. The metal base is heavy and the welds look clean. Everything feels like it was put together with care. No likes: * The price is high, but I'm OK with that given the build quality and materials. I had the chance to try the Razer Iskur V2 X NewGen Ergonomic Gaming Chair (Gen 2), and I’m genuinely impressed. I originally meant to order the black version but accidentally selected the Quartz color. That turned out to be a happy mistake—my family loves it. The light pink upholstery paired with the bright pink Razer logo looks fantastic in person. The chair arrived unassembled in a large, premium-looking Razer-branded box. As with other Razer products I own, the packaging quality is exceptional. Every component was carefully protected, and unboxing felt like an experience in itself. Razer even included black-and-green branded cloth gloves to prevent fingerprints during assembly, along with stickers, a detailed printed guide, and QR codes for registration and assembly videos. Assembly was quick and straightforward—under 30 minutes from box to fully built. Everything uses a single included T‑handled Allen key, and the bolts come pre-positioned in their mounting points rather than bagged, making each step obvious. Every part fit perfectly with zero alignment issues. It’s easily one of the simplest gaming or office chairs I’ve ever put together. The upholstery is impressive and reminds me of automotive craftsmanship. The back panel zips on, and the underside uses hog rings for a secure fit. The EPU leather feels thick, soft, and durable—noticeably higher quality than standard PU leather. The tufted stitching in matching pink looks great, and the darker pink embroidered logo adds a nice contrast. Razer even sells optional seat covers (ASIN: B0F937XN9R) if you want extra protection. Comfort-wise, the chair delivers. The high-density foam cushions are firm yet supportive, and I stayed comfortable through long gaming sessions without feeling overheated. The 152‑degree recline, height adjustment, and 2D armrests (up/down and rotation) offer enough customization to dial in a good ergonomic position. I also appreciate that the armrests sit slightly forward, which helps when using a keyboard and mouse. The metal base feels solid and durable with a clean black powder‑coated finish. The Razer Iskur V2 X isn’t a budget chair, but it absolutely feels like a premium, well‑engineered product.
