i did what the instructions stated and measured my foot per the companys instructions. I then ordered a half size larger for wiggle room. when i received the skate and tried it on, it was small. so i engaged the company and let them know i would like to return them for a larger size. i was refunded Minus the shipment back to them) and then was credited in my account, where i re-ordered a size up. i am happy with the skates as they are very nice and have great comfort, but i think i could have gone up another size (which would have been my true shoe size) but i didnt want the hassle of paying return shipping again, then to re-order and wait again. ... show more

It is very soft and comfortable, The only thing that I don't like is the front too wide, I have small feet and it is very hard for me to stay balance while when I weared it on the ice. I truthly like the design and quality, if front can make it a little bit smaller will be perfect.
