  • Impressive AR Glasses
I’ve tried several AR glasses, and the GT Max really impressed me. The image is sharp and the large field of view makes the screen feel much more immersive without being uncomfortable. I especially like the 3DoF mode, because I can choose how I want the screen to behave instead of having it constantly move with my head. The 3D mode is also very good, and the sound quality from the B&O speakers is better than I expected from glasses this small. Setup was easy, and I’ve used them with my iPhone and other devices without any trouble. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and the image quality is excellent. Definitely one of the most interesting tech purchases I’ve made recently. ... show more

  • Good on Paper, But Still Growing Pains
They’re a noticeable step up from the last model I tried. They actually fit well and feel pretty light on my face, which is a huge plus for wearing them around the house. The picture is sharp, and instead of feeling like I’m staring at a phone screen inches from my face, it genuinely feels like I’m watching something much bigger. The 59-degree field of view and 3DoF (basic head movement tracking) make it feel more immersive than a tablet, and since I switched to an iPhone with a USB-C port, I can plug right in without carrying around a separate Google TV player. That said, it’s not perfect yet. After about twenty minutes of watching video, I started feeling noticeable heat build up across the top frame, which got pretty uncomfortable and pulled my attention away from what I was watching. I also wish the lenses were a bit wider. Even with the current setup, I can’t quite see all four corners of the screen without shifting my eyes, so I’m really hoping they drop an XL version down the line. The audio by B&O sounds clear and detailed, but in a quiet room, it definitely leaks outward—people sitting next to me can hear what I’m watching. I’m wondering if bone conduction tech, like what Shokz makes, could fix that sound leakage without sacrificing the quality. ... show more

  • I tried to like it but the video quality is so dull from too much contrast and lack of brightness.
I really LOVE that theres only about 5% corner blurriness. Ive been using this device and I thought the AI HDR is whats wrong with it but after comparing it to my air 3s pro I found out that the screen itself is the problem. I maxed out the brightness already but its still not bright. The screen quality looks so dull and so unalive. Like the air 4 pro AI Hdr makes the video quality is so wonky. Same reason why I stuck from my air 3spro instead of upgrading to air 4 pro, the edges is much sharper but upgrading just for the ai hdr alone is not ideal. Id definitely buy a GT MAX 2 or once the contrast is fixed in GT MAX. I really like the wide screen but I dont want to pay a lot and I cant enjoy it because of the dull color quality. ... show more

  • Ultimate Viewing Experience
So have used these glasses for a week or so now. Clarity is phenomenal, wife laughs at me because I have worn these to bed vs turning on the big TV. The size L fit my big head perfectly. Fit perfectly and the nose pieces are easy to adjust. Can wear them for hours. I would highly suggest purchasing the lens shades as they enhance the viewing experience. Works perfectly with my Iphone 15 pro max using the included USB cable. I plan to purchase the sound tubes next as my only complaint would be the sound is lacking if you put your hands over your ears they sound booms but with my shape of face the sound doesnt seem to hit my ears at the right angle. ... show more

  • Terrible black levels on darker movies
I got 3 glasses to compare. Virtue beast, RN Air 4 pro , and these RN GT Max. The Virtue Beast black levels were way too dark, and so are the GT Max's unfortunately. The Air 4 Pros are the best when it comes to dark scenes. For example, the TV show Silo is unwatchable on the Beast and the GT Max. So bad that some scenes that I can see perfectly fine on my phone or the Air 4 Pros are completely black on these with just glimpses of light. I love the 3dof features and the comfort of these, but they're going back due to the black levels. ... show more

  • Beats XR glasses in quaility and features that cost much more!
I have tested may of these types of glasses, from the most simple that only provide the image and sound, to the ones that let you anchor the image, 3D functions and all that. From all my testing, I have to say that the RayNeo GT Max is the best bang for buck XR glasses in the market right now. The amount of features it includes rival products that cost hundreds of dollars more. It has all of the 3DOF functions you can want, the higest DOF in the market right now, 3 sizes so you can shoose based on your IPD, amazing sound, incredible display quality, and suprisignly comfortable. If you want a pair of XR glasses that have all the bells and whistles, but not having to pay an exorbitant price for those features, these are the glasses you want! ... show more

  • Not worth it
These are just awful. Can’t believe the positive reviews. These people must have never owned and headset or such device. First the colors are terrible. Yellowish; orange. Unnatural. Then the screen.. you have to constantly move your head while watching movies. Sound is good. Not worth the price in my opinion. I say it’s worth more like $150 to $199. My advice wait for new products. ... show more
