Let me start this review by saying WOW! Now that my initial reaction is out of the way, let’s get down to the review. Shipping: It’s Amazon, you order something and it magically appears at your door. In this case, the Amazon genie delivered my package the next day. Packaging: The box was sealed by the manufacturer with a couple of tamper stickers. Annoying when you don’t have strong, sharp nails. Into the junk drawer I went and grabbed something sharp. Once opened, the glasses were snuggled all nice and cozy in their case. There were other items in the box like the power cord and a cleaning cloth. All in all a very well packaged product. Fit & Finnish: After pulling these bad boys out of the box and removing the protective stickers, I tried them on. Now I have a big head, no lie, people say that my noggin is akin to an orange on a toothpick. Hurtful but true🤷♂️ These glasses fit perfectly, even on my overly large cranium. The arms to these suckers bend outward slightly, if needed, to accommodate many head sizes. The glasses just fit good. You can adjust the angle of the arms, and even spread the nose piece wide enough to fit an Aardvark. The quality is outstanding is what Im getting at. Function: Well if you’ve made it this far I guess we can talk about the actual function of the glasses. So you should really ask yourself why you want these glasses. Do you want them to watch movies, surf your phone or to play games on a handheld? If your answer is any one of those three things then these have got you covered. I’m sure there are tons of other devices to use them with but these are the things where you’d use them the most. The screens are vibrant and crisp, it’s literally like looking at a widescreen hd tv up close. Where ever you turn your head, the screen is right there with you. They really hit the mark with these glasses. Even the speakers sound awesome. I’ve worn them for a couple of hours and they got a little warm but nothing to off putting for me. My favorite use so far is to just kick back on my couch and watch YouTube videos. The main reason I purchased them is to play on a handheld gaming device. Mine doesn’t ship until next week so I can’t really speak to how they’ll work but from what Ive seen so far, they will knock it out of the park. The price point is perfect for these glasses. Not overly expensive but still bringing you great quality. I watched a lot of reviews on these before buying. If you want an in depth review look them up on YouTube by one of those professional reviewers. I’m just gonna give you the review from my personal experience. These things 🤘

These are great. I’ve wanted portable HD big screen glasses since I was a kid. Sony released something like this in the late 1990s, but it was super expensive and didn’t work all that well even for the time. My friend had one. Anyway, this is basically that concept done properly. The glasses take a bit of customizing to get the fit right, and they come with a little insert you can get customized for your eyeglasses RX, which is definitely an issue. You can’t wear something like this with glasses, as there’s a lot less clearance here than with those big bulky VR headsets. But the solution offered is compelling. I might take advantage of it; time will tell. Keep in mind that this is ONLY a display. The HD image is clear and crisp and big, but it is a static image that either duplicates or extends the source. It’s literally a TV or monitor. You cannot “pin” it in place, and you can’t use gesture controls or anything like that. You can’t even make the display smaller like you can with windows on your computer. (There are “AR” or “XR” apps for this device, but they don’t do much. You can use them to view some types of 3D content, but that’s basically it. I think it works with Apple’s “Spacial Video” playback, but I haven’t really tested that much.) I use these glasses with the companion Google TV device RayNeo makes (Pocket TV), but there are other brands that work, too. Rokid makes a cheap one. I also use these with my computer when I want a big monitor or to limit distractions. They’re nice for typing sessions. I also like them for playing my retro handheld. Switch 2 compatibility is hit or miss from what I gather, so if you want these for that, be sure to do some extra research. You may need a specific dongle or something. Speaker quality is quite good, but it’s not private. So while others can’t see what you see, they will hear what you hear. You can just use Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, though. Build quality is good. There are some delicate bits, and you DO need to be kind of gentle with this, but it’s reasonably durable. I don’t like the cheapie case, though. The old RayNeo glasses came with a robust hard zipper case. These come with a cheap semi-stiff fabric case that offers no real protection. That’s OK, as you can get a third-party case, but still. Overall, these are quite good. They’re not AR or XR, but the tech is getting better all the time. The glasses are comfortable for extended wear, but they won’t work with over-the-ear headphones; these are earbuds only. For me, that’s the most limiting comfort factor, as my ears don’t like earbuds for too long. Battery life is good, image quality is crisp, and everything here works well. It’s not state of the art, but it’s state of the art for its price point. Once AR/XR/VR can be put into something this easy and light, that stuff will really take off. I used to use my old Quest 2 for watching video and typing essays and articles, but now I just use these glasses. They’re so much more comfortable. There’s no comparison in terms of feature set, of course, but for what I MOSTLY do, these are fantastic.

This is definitely the future. Unfortunately, it's not going to work for me. I've been using the RayNeo Air 3s Pro all morning. Positives: Plug-and-play. I tested it both with my Galaxy Fold 7 and Windows 11 laptop. Everything worked perfectly. On Samsung, DEX sprang to life instantly. On Windows, the device immediately was recognized as a screen. It's also incredibly bright, and surprisingly clear for 1080p. This has the potential to be great for media consumption and productivity. Negatives: This will likely be subjective, but I simply could not make wearing these feel comfortable. I tried adjusting the angle, the nosepiece, etc., but in the end, I was rarely able to get the entire screen visible in both eyes. Further, there was ghosting for me at the bottom of the screen as well as blurring in the left OLED screen toward the left side of that panel. Nothing I did seemed to resolve it. Finally, even at 120hz, I started to get a slight headache. I would definitely have loved the ability to anchor the screen. As some reviewers have said, I'd also suggest just leaving the protective film on the front of the device to help black out backgrounds. Look...at $250 it's an incredible price for this much tech. If it fit me properly, no question I'd be keeping it. I wish there was more adjustment flexibility.

I received these glasses on 11/28 and tried them out for a while and, unfortunately, they did not work out for me. When I connected them to my computer using their HDMI Adapter they sort of worked but I couldn't really see the whole screen at once regardless of what I tried doing with the screen resolutions. At best I would've only been able to see one application at a time. I tried using their Mirror Studio app but it does not work with their adapter (a RayNeo technician confirmed that it doesn't pass the signal that the software uses to detect the glasses). I found another HDMI 2.0 to USB-C converter that would allow it to work with Mirror Studio but, sadly, Mirror Studio, in my opinion, needs a LOT of work. You have to drag the apps that you want to view into the app before you can view them and, if the app tries to open a child window, that doesn't work. Also, there is some noticeable "screen drift" with the app where all of the windows appear to start slowly drifting or moving to the right of the screen. It looked kind of neat but I also started experiencing some motion sickness while I was viewing it so not a good experience for me. I was trying to use apps like Outlook and Excel which are text based and I could never really get any of them to look good either within Mirror Studio or without it. I did try connecting the glasses to my iPhone 15+ and I was able to watch a movie and it looked and sounded fantastic with the glasses. I also connected them to my PS4 and a Panasonic 4K disc player using RayNeo's HDMI adapter and everything looked pretty good that way as well. Unfortunately, the same converter that allowed the glasses to work with Mirror Studio on my PC would not work with the PS4 nor the 4K disc player. I researched that some and I think it was due to the PS4 not having HDMI 2.0 output (I think some later versions may have it) and I just couldn't get the 4K disc player to work with it. Anyhow, I bought the glasses hoping to find a good inexpensive alternative to my large Fire TV that I use for my monitor but they just won't work for the main purpose so, unfortunately, I am returning them.

Ok here is my review These glasses are amazing. The clarity is very impressive to be a budget friendly pair of glasses. They are lightweight on the face and comfortable on the nose. Picture is clear and this is from a test using my phone (IPhone 17 pro max). True 120hertz. Sound is clear even in spatial and whisper mode. Love the fact that there is low blue light as well as eye protection mode. Downside: sometimes you lose a small portion of the corners and the bottom of the screen. But I think that may be the position of the glasses on the face. I don’t like how the wire on the arm makes it feel like it’s pulling the glass down but I believe that is a small issue that can be fixed. The view does get blurry if making too many sudden movements but that is expected. They could have had a built in motion control. Overall I am super satisfied with the glasses. I will try it with the gaming and I’m sure I will be just as satisfied

Everyone should have a pair of these. The quality is amazing! In noisier environments, you might want louder volume, but headsets / headphones can still work with this, so not a big issue. The edges are not quite as easy to see as the main part of the big screen, but overall, it's easy to use, has an available charging adapter so you can charge your phone. Virtual touchpad eliminates the need to get a second mouse for the Samsung Dex session. You can run Dex and the regular phone at the same time..which is really great for productivity. I use this as 1. watching movies and shows while waiting (a lot of my job is waiting on others in public places). 2. as a large screen production multiview monitor...leave that big desktop monitor at home. I can use these with a single cable to my phone at 50% charge and still use for over an hour. However, the optional charge through adapter is a must for me, as well as the HDMI adapter which has a built-in battery that can last a few hours. The TV box was not as useful as my phone already did most of those things better, but if you want a handheld remote experience and don't need Netflix, it's actually pretty good. I can't believe I didn't know about these before. I always said Apple should have made a Vision Pro light that acted as a monitor for existing Apple devices. This is close to what that product would be.

Four stars because I can understand where these might excel for certain use cases (streaming, travel, gaming, etc), but they 100% do NOT meet expectations for my use case (a replacement for a WFH monitor). First things first - these are well made and do technically deliver on just about every claim they make. The picture is crystal clear (after a few adjustments to the fit), and the screen for the pro is noticeably brighter than the non-pro version. These are probably well worth the money if you intend to use them with your phone or gaming device while either traveling or just laying down in a more comfortable position or whatever. I have no complaints about the quality of the product in that context. However, I was looking for something that could potentially replace my monitor at the house for work. I just don't have a ton of extra space to set up an office, so I was drawn to these over their claims of a 201" screen (at 6m away??) - which is absolute nonsense. In hindsight, the claim itself is absolutely nonsense because it could just as easily be a 1,000ft screen if you look at it from far enough way - it's still just the equivalent of a 16-18inch monitor sitting on your desk. I was a little confused, because I've seen a ton of reviews elsewhere talking about how large the screen is, but now I realize those reviews were likely comparing it to a phone a Nintendo Switch screen. In that case, yeah, I'm sure it's pretty impressive. I'm comparing this to my 15" laptop monitor though, and the screen from the glasses is MAYBE 20% larger than that, tops. Ok, you might be asking "20% sounds like an improvement, what's the problem?" Well, even at +20%, there's always going to be some document or font that is just a little bit harder to read than what is typically on your screen, and with a physical monitor you can just lean in a little closer for those rare cases. With the glasses, though, there is no "leaning closer" to read small text - the screen moves with you. The bottom line is that it's just not a practical replacement for daily use to work with spreadsheets or read emails. Again, that's not to say this isn't a good product. The screen was crystal clear, it's lightweight enough to go mostly unnoticed, and it's very straightforward to use (no setup required, truly 'plug and play'). If I had to pick one practical thing to gripe about beyond my specific use case, I would also point out that the power cable is also maybe a little stiff.
