Top Amazon Reviews

  • Great product for tech enthusiasts and gamers
Ok here is my review These glasses are amazing. The clarity is very impressive to be a budget friendly pair of glasses. They are lightweight on the face and comfortable on the nose. Picture is clear and this is from a test using my phone (IPhone 17 pro max). True 120hertz. Sound is clear even in spatial and whisper mode. Love the fact that there is low blue light as well as eye protection mode. Downside: sometimes you lose a small portion of the corners and the bottom of the screen. But I think that may be the position of the glasses on the face. I don’t like how the wire on the arm makes it feel like it’s pulling the glass down but I believe that is a small issue that can be fixed. The view does get blurry if making too many sudden movements but that is expected. They could have had a built in motion control. Overall I am super satisfied with the glasses. I will try it with the gaming and I’m sure I will be just as satisfied ... show more

  • These XR Glasses don't disappoint!
These XR Glasses don't disappoint. You can even see in daylight. The only set back was I couldn't see the screen in its entirety and the glasses sat way off my face. After adjusting the screen to 80% in the Rayneo Pocket TV settings, which is still very big, and adjusting the Temple adjustments all the way up (Be careful and watch a video before you adjust them, didn't find this easy). Now I can see 99% of the screen, barely missing the bottom right corner, and the glasses go all the way on now (including using the alternative nose piece, also watch a video on this, as I found it was hard to do), and the glasses go all the way on snug on my ears. The picture quality is awesome, the screen is not see through, you can set the screen from the glasses to Eye Comfort, which I do when I watch movies, then I don't get a headache, YouTube I can watch in any other mode and feel perfect. The Pocket TV includes the NFL plus App, but they need to work on the App, because it is very hard to fast forward through game footage. The Pocket TV also has A Micro SD card slot that supports 2TB storage. It also has 2 USB-C ports, one for charging, and one for the glasses, you don't need a Adapter that goes from one to two ports, unless you're using your phone. Make sure to use the glasses buttons, to make all your settings perfect. These glasses do not disappoint. Just a note, I did get red marks from the nose pads after hours of use, and I took off the black, blackout lens covers, cut off the bottom third, and put them back on, to help block out light in the FOV, but still see through the bottoms. But the Technology for glasses with screens that don't disappoint is here now, with the right adjustments, both glasses and settings, you can make them perfect for you, and the price is fair. I highly recommend you try them with the Rayneo Pocket TV and for 30 days, then you can get all the adjustments right for you! This is an update to my review. I found the best nose piece, is no nose piece at all. I had to adjust the Temple (Angle) adjustments all the way down this time to see the whole screen. I also made a Hack by putting a one inch piece of one inch Flexible Nexcare Clear Tape, Waterproof (Depending on your nose size) over where the glasses sit on your nose, so the glasses don't dig into your nose. I tested a lot of different scenarios, so you don't have to. To Power User's, and Gamers, I tested the Hack with the glasses on for ten hours and fifteen minutes, with minimal red marks. The red marks mostly subsided after fifteen minutes - an hour, except it left a little spec on my left nose side which was still there in the morning. It will subside with time. I get easy red marks, so unless you're like me, you'll have less marks and heal faster. If you can handle that, your golden. Note the glasses got uncomfortable around my ears, here and there, around the two - four hour mark, but after that it went away. I also did my normal routines, and adjusted the glasses when I sat back down. Again, if you can handle all that, these glasses don't disappoint. This is another update to my review. Take the Nexcare tape off and use a new piece after 12hrs, or before you sweat, to avoid leaving unwanted sticky residue on your nose. ... show more

  • Great for travel/entertainment, not for productivity
Four stars because I can understand where these might excel for certain use cases (streaming, travel, gaming, etc), but they 100% do NOT meet expectations for my use case (a replacement for a WFH monitor). First things first - these are well made and do technically deliver on just about every claim they make. The picture is crystal clear (after a few adjustments to the fit), and the screen for the pro is noticeably brighter than the non-pro version. These are probably well worth the money if you intend to use them with your phone or gaming device while either traveling or just laying down in a more comfortable position or whatever. I have no complaints about the quality of the product in that context. However, I was looking for something that could potentially replace my monitor at the house for work. I just don't have a ton of extra space to set up an office, so I was drawn to these over their claims of a 201" screen (at 6m away??) - which is absolute nonsense. In hindsight, the claim itself is absolutely nonsense because it could just as easily be a 1,000ft screen if you look at it from far enough way - it's still just the equivalent of a 16-18inch monitor sitting on your desk. I was a little confused, because I've seen a ton of reviews elsewhere talking about how large the screen is, but now I realize those reviews were likely comparing it to a phone a Nintendo Switch screen. In that case, yeah, I'm sure it's pretty impressive. I'm comparing this to my 15" laptop monitor though, and the screen from the glasses is MAYBE 20% larger than that, tops. Ok, you might be asking "20% sounds like an improvement, what's the problem?" Well, even at +20%, there's always going to be some document or font that is just a little bit harder to read than what is typically on your screen, and with a physical monitor you can just lean in a little closer for those rare cases. With the glasses, though, there is no "leaning closer" to read small text - the screen moves with you. The bottom line is that it's just not a practical replacement for daily use to work with spreadsheets or read emails. Again, that's not to say this isn't a good product. The screen was crystal clear, it's lightweight enough to go mostly unnoticed, and it's very straightforward to use (no setup required, truly 'plug and play'). If I had to pick one practical thing to gripe about beyond my specific use case, I would also point out that the power cable is also maybe a little stiff. ... show more
