I bought the Air 3s glasses as an impulse purchase but it has been so worth it! The glasses are so light that it doesn't feel like it is a burden to wear them. The glasses are pretty much plug and play and are easy to use with a laptop. I still have an older iPhone so I can't connect my phone to it, but I just set up some movie or show on my laptop, close the lid, sit back and enjoy the movie on the glasses. The displays are super nice because the OLED displays make for some deep blacks that make movies super fun to watch. I only wish that the mirror reflecting the screen was slightly bigger because I typically use it at night when I am about to sleep and don't really care for seeing through the glasses. But other than that, the glasses are great!

This is my first pair of AR glasses and I am really happy I selected these. I do have a Meta Q3 but those I just can't wear for more than an hour due the the weight, just uncomfortable. While these aren't VR they are very comfortable to wear and move around in, similar to a regular pair of glasses. It just takes a couple seconds to put on and connect to my phone or laptop. And I am very surprised by the quality of the screen display. For watching movies or youtube these are great. And I love using them with my Legion Go for games too. And best of all I think the value at the acquired price point is excellent. I do wear corrective lenses and while they are usable with my glasses on I have already ordered a set of corrective lenses just for these. Even with that extra cost I still feel the value is there. I'm already considering purchasing another pair for my wife as I think it would increase her enjoyment of using her ipad and phone.

The definition on these glasses is very sharp, they feel light compared to other glasses (as someone with a large head, I also appreciate that they fit snugly, but without feeling too tight) and although there is some heat buildup, it's not as drastic as other glasses. I am light sensitive, so after a few hours of wearing them, I do have to take a break because the lowest brightness setting is still pretty bright compared to my phone and other screens. Rather than AR that integrates your screen with your physical surroundings (which other glasses do through 3DoF), the air 3s functions more as a static display, although you are able to see through the bottom half of the glasses, and tilt your head upwards to see your physical environment. I bought these to use with my phone, steam deck, and surface pro, all of which have USB-C display capabilities, and I was able to plug-and-play. I originally wanted to use this as a productivity booster, giving me a screen larger than my laptop's so I'd be able to multitask on multiple windows, as well as for more immersive gaming. Unfortunately, the screen being static makes it harder to spend extended amounts of time reading documents or playing games that use the whole screen because because 1. you have to keep your vision locked on the portion of screen you're reading, rather than being able to move your head/body and change the angle you're focusing your eyes on, causing eye strain; and 2. depending on how you angle your glasses, you usually can't see both the top and bottom edges of the screen, so you have to choose for either have the top or bottom half be blurry / less visible. Overall, these are very good glasses, in the past week I've owned this, I mainly use it for streaming through my phone, as well as trying to use it as the main display for my laptop. Although they can't really compare to competitors when it comes to using these for productivity, the Air 3s is excellent for entertainment with its high quality display while costing less than half of its competitors' glasses.

Pretty neat device to watch videos and play games. Use it on flights and at home. Great quality, doesn't need to be charged. The device it's attached to needs an adapterso you can view and charge device at the same time. Great hard case. It's not like a Vision Pro, where you can set windows in place. The screen moves as you move your head. Not 100% immersive, as you can see the periphery. Nice brightness, built-in sound from glasses is great with minimal to zero leakage depending on volume. Comfortable and nose pad helps. I wear +1.00 glasses to view far objects and have thought about getting the glass inserts, but can see the screen alright. Great for 3D movies. Only drawback is that their iOS app sucks. Use the free Viture app for a far superior experience with iDevices.

I was mainly looking for glasses that I could play movies from my iPhone while on long flights. This suits my needs. - The picture quality is very good, depending on the resolution of the videos. - Sound through the glasses is ok, but I prefer to use my Air Pods Pro 2. - Screen size is good, but don't expect it to be a cinematic experience. Still for me it was suitable. - It is light weight and comfortable to wear. I have not tried for long periods of time, so we'll see. - It is powered through the USB-C cable from the iPhone, so I expect that it will drain the batteries after a couple of hours. They sell power adapters for about $30. I also have a mag charger that may help as well, but not certain. - This works out of the box with iPhones with a USB-C connection. For lightning connectors an adapter is needed which is approximately $60. I tried this with several apps. here are the results: - Prime Video: works great - Apple TV: works great - YouTube: works, but some videos were grainy probably due to the resolution of the video. - Netflix: DOES NOT WORK (boooo). Error "The connected display is not supported. (10065)" - Fandango at Homes: works, BUT there is a control overlay that won't go away. - VLC: works, but I did not try it in 3d mode. I don't have a 3D SBS compatible video. - Paramount+: works great - Hulu: works great Last note: these are glasses, not goggles, so you can see the surroundings from the bottom and sides. For me this is fine, but may not be if you're looking for a cinematic experience or immersive gaming.

Alright, the RayNeo Air 3s—they look slick, they feel futuristic, and they connect to your phone without any drama. You plug it in, and boom! Giant screen floating in front of your face. Love that part. BUT THEN... Want to use it with your PC, Steam Deck, toaster, or literally anything besides your phone? Prepare to go shopping. You’ll need to throw down $100+ on special adapters, hubs, or some cable forged in Mount Doom. And pro tip: get a bi-directional cable, or you’ll be staring into the void wondering why nothing’s working. Now let’s talk about the screen: Yes, it’s big. But it’s basically glued to your face like a movie theater that follows your eyes. This isn’t VR—you don’t move your head to see more. You move your head, and the whole screen just follows you like a creepy ex. It’s always there. Productivity? I give it a 3/6. I bought this thinking I’d be like Tony Stark with floating monitors. YouTube said that was possible. YouTube lied. It’s just one big screen. No multi-window magic. More like "iPad in your face" than "office in your glasses." And now the dealbreaker: THE HEAT. After about 40 minutes, it starts heating up like a baked potato. The included USB-C cable? Warms up like it’s trying to cook something. Eventually, it stops mirroring because the cable overheats, and then it’s useless for like 20 minutes while both the headset and your ears slowly cool down from lava temperature. Fun. --- Final Verdict: 3/5 Cool tech, phone-friendly, big screen vibes—but overheats fast, the cable is trash, and productivity claims were straight-up fairy tales. Get it if you want a futuristic YouTube machine. But Iron Man? You are not.

I bought these and soon returned them. In my mind, a totally failed product should get one star while a bad product with some redeeming features maybe gets two. Hence my rating: these glasses could be great but they just fall short too much. Let's start with the positives. One big plus is the image: colorful, rich, and deep. Also, the video runs with no stutter and the glasses don't need much to show a image - just plug them into the phone or computer. You don't even need to install any apps. Finally the glasses are light and consume little power. They drained about 60% of my phone battery during a 3 hour flight (granted my moto edge 2024 has a decent size battery and granted I did not watch non-stop - read on for details on this) so their power consumption is totally workable for many uses. Aaaand this is where positives end. Let's talk about the negatives. First of all, as some reviewers noted the screen barely fits into the viewing surface and so if you don't fit the glasses on your nose just right then the screen cuts out a bit on top or at the botom or even both. Sure, you can spend a long long time sliding the glasses around your nose just right and bend the support clips just right but the next time you put the glasses on you will likely need to do it all over again. It's a pain. The other issue is connectivity. Yes, getting an image from the phone and onto screen is initially easy. But when I tried (on a flight) playing some Amazon Video which I downloaded to my phone the video started to cut out and the Amazon Video app started throwing errors at me. The error message told me to reboot my phone but that did not help. What did help was unplugging and replugging the glasses. But it kinda kills the experience to unplug and replug the glasses every twenty minutes. I suspect the glasses do not do some DRM protocol right and they need to be replugged in to re-authenticate. It's just a guess but whatever it is, playing long videos on these glasses is not for the faint of heart. The other issue is the app. Yes, you do not need any apps to get video out but in the long run you do need an app (for example to update firmware). But there are no relevant apps on google store. The apps seem to have been there in the past but now have disappeared. That bring up concerns about security of the apps and whether you would want to sideload some stuff from the company web page. Frankly, as far as I am concerned, no app in Google Play store is reason enough to return the glasses. But we have not yet gotten to the biggest fail: sound. These glasses have built in speakers but those things are basically unusuable. I could not hear anything on the plane with Whisper mode ON so I played the sound with Whisper mode OFF and even then I could barely hear anything over the engine noise (on max setting). But the person in the next seat could also hear muffled sounds. The sound is just the worst: it bothers your neighbors, provides no privacy, is not loud enough to enjoy the movie and there is no noise cancellation. The ads for these glasses show one person enjoying a movie in bed while their partner next to them is asleep. Based on my experience this is a very unlikely scenario in real life. And so the end conclusion of my review is that the people who made these glasses did the hard part, the innovation, sort of well: they got the good image to the eyes without consuming too much power or being too expensive. But then they dropped the ball on all the engineering stuff that is already a solved problem - the "easy" stuff. And this stuff in the end makes all the difference.

I bought these by mistake, aiming to purchase the three times more expensive unit which hasn’t even shown up yet … now that I’m on my second day owning these, I can tell you it’s actually pretty darn amazing and quite the value. I’ve seen many people mentioned the screen door effect where it looks like you’re looking at a grid or you’re looking at a screen screen door and I can 100% say there is no screen door effect not even in the slightest in Fact I purchased the iPhone 16 pro which I assumed was a very high-quality screen and looking at my phone and then looking at the lenses inside the glasses = It is night and day difference as far as quality of these glasses are A+ they work with my phone (iPhone 16 usb c) with one cable don’t need ANY adapter, that’s it, super simple, adapter is if you want to charge your phone while using glasses. Again these are great picture quality. The functionality is dead simple. Easy. The price is un beatable. I cannot say this enough but and try and you’ll see you won’t want to return especially if you travel, drive a Tesla (if you know you know), or want to enjoy a 85” screen movie without bothering anyone else. I know they say it’s a 150” screen or whatever but I own an 85” and it’s the exact size 10 feet away so take that as you’d like but it’s big and perfect sized. Complaints = while still comfortably giving them 5 stars. 1. At night time turned all the way the brightness is still too bright to enjoy in bed in the dark GIVEN I am more sensitive to bright lights at night so I might just be a whiny baby but overall too bright ! 2. The speakers are good probably a 7 maybe 8 out of 10 but if you cup your hands around it it’s a 13 out of 10 on volume lol - but I wear noise canceling headphone with it anyway so not too worried about the speakers, but if planning to watch on a plane or loud environment plan to get the $29 ear cup attachments I’d imagine would solve it. 3. No app …. Not that that’s a bad thing. It has a built in program that is easy and simple. 3 settings. But value is A+ Working in bright light with black out sticker that it comes with on the lenses A+ Overall A++ Hope that helps :)
