The pull out trays are awkward and difficult to pull out and put back in. There is a cut out hole that I didn't realize was there in the ramp door on the second level that can be closed to block use of the ramp. An animals foot or leg can fall into the hole if there is an animal on the top level and the door is closed. The materials seem cheap and the plastic used for the pull out trays is not sturdy. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase and would never buy this cage again or recommend it to anyone. The materials could easily be bought from most hardware stores other than the pull out trays, and I am pretty sure a great substitute for them could even be found. While it would take time to source materials for this enclosure rather than buy this poorly thought out prefab I think that would be much more satisfactory. I am currently looking for other options and considering going to a hardware store to find wood and other items to do this myself with a much better result. It's also small, but the dimensions are listed in the description. Only one small animal should be housed in the cage and that's pushing it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I used this for a brooder. I blocked off the top and bottom with the hatch door that closes and didn’t use the ramp. This was perfect to separate the different size chicks on top and bottom. It is so easy to clean since the bottoms slide out. I was even able to set their heaters in there.
