We purchased this indoor hutch for our rescue rabbit a few days ago. The hutch comes in large pieces that go together easily. My daughter assembled it herself. The design is awesome. The bottom is wire with a catch tray that just pulls out. It makes cleaning easier and no droppings spill on to the floor. We use a washable matt in the tray so we don't have a shavings mess. The rabbit seems to appreciate have different areas for food, sleep, and play. It has a ramp so you can just leave the front door open allowing the rabbit to roam the house and to return to the cage to eat. Its not a fine piece of furniture but its nice enough to be in the family room. I'm quite satisfied with the product so far. I can't say yet whether it will hold up over time but it seems pretty solid.

We love this cage for our two rabbits. They are outdoors all summer and just came in to this cafe in late October. It was easy to put together; the directions were clear with correct hardware and holes predrilled for all connections. The rabbits quickly learned how to move between both levels. I like the multiple doors, wood color/design and light that comes in. Features including the plastic door, wire sides and doors and double trays are very nice and handy. Love that it’s on casters to move and sweep under. Only possible needs (minimal- not even dropping a star) - somewhere to hang the ramp for the front. We have to take it off since it is in a walkway , but have found it hooks on the side. Also needed to add a little plastic shield on the back bottom corner since that is where they pee, so needed a urine-shield for that corner. But overall, it was a very worthwhile purchase.

I got my guinea pig this cage and she is really really happy with it. However, when it came into the mail, there were a lot of split wood it was not bad enough to do anything about it and the places that were chipped is not even noticeable when it’s put together however, the trays that you pull out to change the bedding often times gets stuck and you have to put a lot of pressure to get it out which often times the bedding launching across the room the locks you have to be very careful with, especially if you have pets to make sure they are locked right which once you get it you’ll figure out the right way and if you have cats, it is very very important to keep them off of the plastic sheet that goes on the top of it because my cats have cracked it and luckily we do not use the bars for the floor because it’s super bad for their feet so we just have that on top and now it’s not a problem one thing they did not think about is the bars are super small so if you have a bigger water bottle, it makes it hard to put it in however, after the first time you put it in it bends the bars so that it will continue to go in the right way and the way the bars are bent. It’s not a big deal it’s just enough to put a water bottle it also came with a hay tray which I really like and it came with one toy.

If you are buying this for chewers, don't. I am partially to blame for deciding to buy a wooden cage for a rat, but the description does say for rabbits and other small animals. I thought maybe the size and construction was durable enough, which is why it was being noted that other small animals could use it. Assembly: easy enough, I did it by myself, but two people would make this easier. I believe that two people is recommended in the directions. I did have an issue with a couple pieces not having a letter marked on them. I also had an issue the the hinges on the ramp into the upper level not being fastened correctly (crooked), so I had to fix that so the ramp would screw on properly. I also did not have pre-fixed holes for the outer ramp for the hooks. Cleaning: The tray is easy to clean, and being able to slide the entire thing out is very nice. That being said, it's wood, and small animals don't always do what we want when they eliminate. Cleaning urine out of wood isn't really possible. Design: I love the design, it looks nice in my living room. Not just your average critter cage. Within a week of having this, he was already chewing on the wood on the inside of the cage itself, where the bottom sliding tray inserts. About two weeks ago,I noticed that in one corner, he was able to start chewing where the plastic tray is secured to the wood. This ultimately allowed him to chew a hole through the wood, allowing him an escape. After I closed this, he was able to chew through the plastic tray, and escape through the bottom. Overall, I do not recommend this is you're housing a small, natural chewing pet. I would imagine that rabbits can put in work chewing too, but perhaps due to their size, there isn't much concern for escape. So as not to be the blame, my rat has plenty of chewing toys, a large chewing log, gets fed with puzzles so he has to forage, and gets significant time outside of his cage at least once daily so that he doesn't get bored/frustrated. This didn't call me down to a bored and mad rat with nothing better to do. Will add pictures once I can get good quality.

My Bunny Luna loves hopping around in this cage! It is quite big, she loves the bigger lower section better than the top room. I will say it’s a little hard to assemble with just a screwdriver, I would recommend a drill. My product came slightly damaged with a chip missing out of the side, and I contacted the seller they were able to give me a partial refund which coved my repair costs! They do not have any spare parts for the cages though. Very aesthetically pleasing cage and good all around. I would recommend this cage.

I love the size and look of this hutch, but I’m already looking to replace it. It was very easy to put together and the bunnies love it. But, they are also eating it! I wish the bottom tray was only plastic without any wood. It makes it very hard to clean it! Update-One month after owning this, the wire is coming out of the side and the bottom of cage is falling apart. What a disappointment!
