Protects mattress and does not cause excess heat or make it uncomfortable. It doesn’t make a bunch of noise, fits my mattress well, and doesn’t make the sheets look off on top of it. The quality seems bad when you first take it out, but it does its job.

As long as you are only looking for a basic, very thin layer of polyurethane to protect from sweat it’s fine. It is not padded and the pockets/sides are not water resistant at all. They very loosely secure around the mattress so be cautious if you are expecting it to withstand large spills or significant incontinence. We just use it to secure a memory foam topper and protect it from perspiration so it works ok but this probably isn’t the style you need for much else.
