Got these about 6 months ago after our previous one wore out or developed too many holes to really be called waterproof. These seem to be exceptionally well made. we have not really had to switch them back and forth too often. none of them have any holes yet and they're an absolute must have, especially if you enjoy any sort of beverages with any frequency, anywhere near the bed. which in my case means that I will dump it on myself at some point. It is as inevitable as Meteorologists getting more excited each year over rain showers that seem to be smaller each year. There is no need to warrior concern yourself with if it will it will not happen I just accepted it so now I have these. That is why I have these. I never would have believed anyone if they had told me I would start out on and end up on a plastic covered mattress, but here we are. Only one issue, its biggest strength is also its biggest curse. To play if one spills something it quickly gets absorbed into the mattress. Of course now this doesn't happen. it stays on top of the mattress. At first this seems obvious, and nothing to concern yourself with. But no. That 711 big gulp worth of doctor pepper and ice is not sitting on top of that bed all by its lonesome. No, for it has company, and that company is you. And if you're anyone like me you're creating a nice divot, a crater if you will, and so all the liquid is now rushing to you, it's icy grip following you... wherever you shriek and flop/roll (a flo'roll) out of the way, it will come and it will find you until you're able to pop off the bed and find a Towel. Which can take or seem as long as 15 minutes. After that, it's great. Just towel it up for a minute or two, come up with some excuse that you can tell your wife, as you assure her that screaming woman was not in the room but actually on the TV. she buys it every time. (great value, glad to have two, fits great and doesn't come off. To be any better it would have to come with mood lighting, and a white noise generator. Both of these i suggest for future versions)

Now I have got to say, this one impressed me. I bought this over a year ago, and it still looks like new today. Few weeks ago I had a bad leak in my room that water would land on my bed, but with this on, I am not kidding guys, this actually protected my mattress!! It was a little wet on the top but my bed was completely safe!! Washing this is super easy, stains are hard to get stuck on the sheet. Highly recommend this one right here, its so soft, has an extra layer of cushion, this one has a lot of features for the price! I expected this to not be the greatest but this came out to be high quality!!

I'm extremely happy with this protectors ability to hold my bed together!! I have 2 older matress protectors with thick fluffy tops that I'm using to add softness to my new, rather firm mattress. Then I got a 3inch gel foam topper. The old pillow top protectors were holding on, but only by what's left of my hopes & dreams of getting a good nights sleep! This bamboo protector is lightweight (no noise) smooth but not slippery. I love the feel of it. It's smoothness allows it to shift just enough on top of the other 2 pillow top protectors, that it doesn't pull them off the matress. They are holding on for dear life as it is.. You know how some fabrics cling together so much that they move as one, often dragging the one underneath with every move. This bamboo protector doesn't cling to the toppers, so they stay in place, even as we toss and turn on top. It's just brilliant. The deep pockets are amazing! This bamboo protector fits over Everything. (12inch matress, 2 fluffy layers and a 3 inch gel foam topper). It has great elastic to bring everything together beautifully. I have a metal bed frame with slats. So I'm able to tuck the protector in all the way around underneath. Nice and Snug. I can't say that about my normal size fitted sheet. But that's a later issue. I have washed & dried it 3 times so far and it has held up beautifully. I only dry on medium/low heat. The elastic is awesome, I wouldn't want to damage it with too much heat. It's not super thick so it dries quickly! I had to stay in a certain price range cuz I didn't Need another protector, I just wanted one with deep pockets. I'm impressed with the quality & feel & great elastic. Hope this helps.. 😃

Does this deserve 5 stars? Not yet, for I haven't spilled any liquids on it (and don't intend to). Other than that, these protectors go on easily, fit perfectly and feel comfortable under my fitted sheet. I don't notice any noise or stiff feeling under my feeted sheet. If it indeed is waterproof, that could raise the star rating to 5, but potential customers might seek other reviews that address that issue. Seldom, do I have any beverage in my bedroom even though the adjustable bed makes late night TV viewing possible (still seldom done).

I bought these mattress pads because my mattress was sleeping warm when I disposed of the old mattress pad and these were supposed to be cooling. They arrived in good time and fit my deep mattresses with room to spare. They're lightweight with the wording splashed across them and supposedly waterproof. I bought them for their price point and the reviews even though I don't need that feature (but figured it couldn't hurt!) so I can't speak to that. The great part is they really ARE cooling. I noticed an immediate difference in temperature after putting them on and have been much more comfortable. Oh AND, they don't make any noise. Buy them, I don't think you'd be disappointed.
