I recently purchased this to create a barrier for my mattress when I do Nuru massages. During that particular massage, An abundance of thick and super slippery gel is used. So much in fact, that It has to have a waterproof or easy clean wipable surface to be performed on. and Nuru gel during massages. Overall, it has served its purpose excellently, providing a soft and protective layer - - - -The fabric is remarkably soft and comfortable, making it versatile enough to use as a fitted sheet in a pinch. Its waterproof nature has been a lifesaver, successfully preventing any damage to my mattress. - - - -However, my enthusiasm took a hit when it came time to clean the protector. Initially attempting to hand wash proved challenging, leading me to opt for the washing machine. Here's where things got a bit tricky. - - - -I first made the mistake of washing it with my other bedding. The waterproof feature, while effective, acted as a balloon during the wash, trapping water and laundry inside. This forced me to separate it from the rest of the laundry, rewash it, and run the other items through an additional cycle to remove excess water. - - - -Washing it alone solved this problem, but it remained difficult to get rid of all the excess water and remove the little pockets it created in the washer before transitioning to the dryer. The drying process also took longer than expected, even on medium heat. - - - -In conclusion, the Waterproof Polyester Deep Pocket Mattress Protector Cover excels in its protective capabilities and comfort. However, be prepared for a bit of a hassle when it comes to cleaning. Washing it separately is essential to avoid complications, and patience is required to ensure it dries thoroughly.     • They don’t dry in a dryer, but work great for their intended use

They definitely keep the bed dry. In fact, I threw this over the entire made bed and it kept the sheets and duvet dry and stain free. That said, using the dryer alone won’t dry them. One need to let them hang a bit first because they inside is plastic, so the water will get caught—but when you do that, you have to be careful they will leave what appear to be salt stains. But it’s the dirt and grime pooling in the drying area. Wonderful sheets, highly recommend, just be prepared to do a little extra to clean them (mostly dry them) when needed. ... show more

This is a great product. My wife has terribly dry skin in the winter time, so she uses coconut oil to help keep her skin moisturized. This sheet was perfect to put down before we went to bed so she could let it soak in overnight, without staining the bedsheets. A lot of reviews had mentioned difficulty in washing the sheet, but I found if I pulled it out of the wash, and rung it out quickly in the bathtub, it would dry just fine. ... show more
