Long story short , we had a accident last night and couldn't change out sheets until morning . Was pleased to find that the mattress was as new , nothing got through , this mattress protector has been machine washed and dried several times and still did the job ! ... show more

This water resistant sheet does resist water well. I utilize this sheet underneath another sheet and it is taut enough where you cannot notice that there are two sheets on the bed. I have noticed that after sleeping on the sheet for multiple days, it does need to be put back onto the mattress again because it slides off easy due to how tight it is on the bed. Only the top layer is made out of the water resistant material. The sides are made out of a thin mesh material which can rip easily if it gets caught on anything. Since the sides are made of a mesh material, I fear that a spill on the edge of the bed would go into the mattress. Even though I have not slept on this sheet directly, I would imagine that it would be comfortable because it is soft and malleable. Other sheets that are water resistant can have a stiff crinkly feel to them, and this one does not. ... show more

This is one of the best mattress protectors I’ve ever purchased and used so far, and it’s incredibly cost-effective! I’m now regretting the UTOPIA protector I bought a few months ago on Amazon. I saw UTOPIA has the most reviews so purchased it, but it was just okay so a few days ago when I found this on sale, I tried this brand - so worth it!! Compared to UTOPIA, this one fits the mattress more snugly, and the built-in waterproof layer seems more durable. Most importantly, this one is also cheaper - truly a great value for the price. After many many washes it is standing up for being durable. Even though it is water proof it still has some breathability to it and not too hot for sleeping comfortable. The fit on a twin mattress that has deep sides is perfect. Snug and not too tight to risk tearing it. Even though it isn't to be bleached the stains still come out with regular soap and cold water wash on gentle. Doesn't require a second fitted sheet on top. We’ve bought several in different sizes and have had zero issues. We love them. They don’t trap body heat or make that rustling sound when you move around on them. Really works for keeping the mattress protected from moisture. We’ve potty trained 2 kids and it’s a must. They wash easily and are super easy to put back on the bed. We’ve had our king sized one for 3 years now and wash it once a week with no issues. And it still is just as effective as say one. The queen sizes are newest but semi to be still be the same quality still.
