I needed a mattress protector for my son's new bed, as we switched him from a toddler bed to a twin bed. I was in a bit of a pinch and needed it quickly so I ordered this LinenSpa one, not entirely sure what to expect as I'm not very familiar with the brand and the price was low compared to other options. But when it was delivered, I was pleasantly surprised. It fits a twin size mattress perfectly, and has no problem fitting deeper (8-10") mattresses. No awkward pain in the butt pulling and stretching and fighting to get it to fit. It is soft, doesn't make any scratchy/squeaky noise (actually doesn't make any noise at all, like some protectors do), and definitely works as it should. This water resistant sheet does resist water well. I utilize this sheet underneath another sheet and it is taut enough where you cannot notice that there are two sheets on the bed. I have noticed that after sleeping on the sheet for multiple days, it does need to be put back onto the mattress again because it slides off easy due to how tight it is on the bed. Only the top layer is made out of the water resistant material. The sides are made out of a thin mesh material which can rip easily if it gets caught on anything. Since the sides are made of a mesh material, I fear that a spill on the edge of the bed would go into the mattress. Even though I have not slept on this sheet directly, I would imagine that it would be comfortable because it is soft and malleable. Other sheets that are water resistant can have a stiff crinkly feel to them, and this one does not. ... show more

After many many washes it is standing up for being durable. Even though it is water proof it still has some breathability to it and not too hot for sleeping comfortable. The fit on a twin mattress that has deep sides is perfect. Snug and not too tight to risk tearing it. Even though it isn't to be bleached the stains still come out with regular soap and cold water wash on gentle. Doesn't require a second fitted sheet on top. Long story short , we had a accident last night and couldn't change out sheets until morning . This is a good waterproof cover for the mattress. The only downside is that sometimes my kiddos will have an accident on their bed and it doesn’t really prevent the odor from going away when I pull out the waterproof cover from the mattress I can smell odor so it doesn’t really Prevent that which it pretty much says that it is waterproof, but I’m not sure how strong the waterproof is ... show more
