  • AMAZING
I took the plunge and spent the money on this machine and have ZERO regrets! This is an amazing vacuum. I went thru the set up - pretty easy to figure out. Ran the vac in our bedroom TWICE. The nasty mess I dumped out both times made me ill. I looked into this vacuum because we live in a very dusty area and hubby has terrible allergies. When you walk across the floor it feels clean! The room even smells better. Suction is great - really feels like it means business and you are getting the job done. Our carpet is only about a month old so it's not like we have years of build up to contend with. Now for the down side. It is not self propelled so be prepared to wrestle with it a bit and it is rather heavy. But so far that is all I can really "complain" about. I HIGHLY recommend buying one - your health is worth it, not to mention the longevity you are offering your carpet. ... show more

  • Amazing!!!! Worth every single dollar!
Actually have a love - hate relationship with this vacuum. Love, love, love it because of the water filter, suction & the way it cleans. Hate it because it shows you just how absolutely nasty your floors are, when you thought you have been keeping them clean so well. Now, it is quiet heavy, so you will get a little extra work out. It is a bit louder than your normal vacs but that suction is ohh so worth it. I do agree with other reviews that with it extended it is hard to maneuver. I have had numerous Dysons & they do not even come close to doing with this vac does. Would buy another one & never think twice about it! ... show more

  • Not for me
The vacuum was just quite a bit bigger and heavier than I was expecting. I really like the idea of no filters to clean and stuff not going into the air but it’s just too heavy and hard to maneuver. I can’t get close enough to the furniture and under chairs etc without changing to the handheld hose because the vacuum head is just too big-so I’m basically just able to vacuum the middle of the floor. I wish there was like a mini version. A lot of people seem to like it but it’s just too cumbersome for me to get out and vacuum as much as I need to. ... show more

  • All you need to know:
Like me I’m sure everyone is here for the dislikes so-1. I dislike that even tho I asked a question here before purchasing and the company answered “yes it does” about whether or not this comes with the 10” floor brush and the air powered little upholstery attachments that it did not come with them. 2 parts I really need! Major disappointment! 2. When you have the telescoping head extended it does not move side to side easily if you have the machine lowered close to the floor when you’re getting under the beds/couches. And there’s no handle to grab so I have to hook arm the machine around it’s body and pull/push it sideways. 3. It doesn’t roll up onto area rugs as easy as they make it seem. Especially the thinner area rugs. And again with no handle there’s not a place to grab it and pick it up except for the one you hold when you push it around. It’s heavy to pick up too so if you’re not strong in the arms/back you may not like this machine. Personally I don’t mind it being heavy bc I assume it’s not made out of all junk plastic parts inside so I didn’t take any points off my rating for the weight but it needs a handle somewhere. 4. I know it wasn’t supposed to come with one but they should’ve made a specially designed strainer that fit inside the canister-like you take the black part out and fit in a strainer and then pour out the dirty water so you can throw the gunk in the trash. I poured outside like they show and by the time I was done vacuuming it looked like I had a dead animal in my yard. Plus all the gunk and pet hair is just going to sit there in a blob until eternity unless I go back after it’s dry and peel it up and throw it away. Ok, so now the positives! 1. It does have really good suction. At least with the vacuum itself bc I haven’t tried the extension tubes yet since it didn’t come with the promised hard floor attachment. In all honesty I hadn’t vacuumed in a couple weeks (blech) bc I was vacuuming my enclosed “mud room” in between my kitchen and the garage and it was just like the commercials where you just see a ton of dirt and dust blowing all over (with my old vacuum) and couldn’t stand the thought of bringing it back into the house. So I did research and had to talk myself into spending so much money on a vacuum. Anyway, it did really good. I vacuumed really well in one room, got grossed out by the yuck in the container so I poured it out, rinsed, and vacuumed again and the water still got dingy. The photos are of that. The first vacuum pass and then the second vacuum pass. 2. Easy to clean the container and black piece but put your hand over the bottom of the black piece when you’re rinsing bc a lot of dog hair plopped out into my sink that I wasn’t expecting and I lost some of it down the drain 😕 3. It was really easy to put together, only took a few minutes. 4. I like that the cord can be removed and wrapped up. I’ll probably get a command hook to hang it up on the inside of the closet where I store the vacuum so I don’t have to go digging in the bag with all the accessories in it every time. 5. As promised there is no smell. None. And I did not use the little fragrance drops bc I wanted to test that. 6. Didn’t see any dirt particles flying around in the air while using. 7. Since you dump out the water container outside there was no cloud of dust and grossness that poofs into the air when you would normally empty your canister vacuum in the trash can which is fantastic. So overall I’m happy. I can finally get to the foot of rug that is under my bed in my room that my old vacuum couldn’t reach also. I bought from amazon rather than the company website itself bc it has free return shipping if anything ever goes wrong with it bc I did see some of those reviews and the company made them pay an arm and a leg to ship it back. (Amazon $439 and company website $399 so I did take a hit there for that privilege). Since the company is the one sending it out they should charge the same price no matter where you order bc I already pay for the privilege of prime!) I’ve only used it a couple times so far so we’ll see how it holds up over time. I did also spring for the extended 3 year warranty bc this dang thing better last at least 6 years for its price tag. I’m still really not happy that I didn’t get all the promised attachments!! To put it nicely that really frosts my cookies!! There are reviews on here, some showing the extra attachments so I don’t know why I didn’t get them. ... show more

  • I had my doubts…
Alright, this vacuum is awesome. We thought our house was pretty clean. Two Roombas clean up daily to keep the dog hair and dander down. Then we have a Roomba mop bot for hard surfaces. Most of the house is wood laminate with area rugs. We usually do weekly manual vacuuming with a Shark to get what the Roomba’s can’t. So I started the Quantum grind. First day I vacuumed for like five hours. I emptied the water tank like 30 times whenever it got so dirty I couldn’t see thru the tank. Not only did we vacuum the floors, we set it loose on our knotty pine walls which tend to collect dust on every board seem. The accessories are decent for getting the wand up our two story interior walls. I only need a small ladder for a few spots. So we vacuumed and vacuumed some more. It seems you can keep pulling dirt out of areas you already vacuumed. We want to get to the point where we can’t get anything else out, but we haven’t gotten there yet in 50-60 tanks full so far. Running it as much as we haven absolutely reduced the amount of floaties you see floating around in sun beams. The house smells better for sure. The house always had a flat stale smell that I couldn’t specifically identify. That has been reduced significantly. If I smell the liquid in the tank, it’s like concentrated evil it pulled out. Just letting the machine run in place tends to purify the air of dust. I guess this is a feature of the Rainbow brand vacuums. I wouldn’t leave this one running for a long period of time though. Our Roomba’s bags do not need to be emptied nearly as often anymore. They’re mostly sweeping up dog shed and giving you a nice pile of hair to make dog hair pillows if you so choose. Empty the tank outside or you’ll be calling a sewer plumber. This thing pulls a lot of hair that can cause drain clogs. ... show more
